Preferences
The Account Widget Preferences provide you with the controls to manage the entire application and how it behaves.
To open Preferences, click the menu button in the toolbar or use a contextual menu and choose "Open Preferences."
General Tab
Within this panel are settings that affect the way KlipFolio manages items and links, and how it interacts with other applications on your computer.

Launch with Windows Enable this checkbox if you'd like the Account Widget to launch automatically each time you start up your computer.
Start Minimized Enable this checkbox if you'd like the Account Widget to launch with Windows but remain minimized to the system tray. NOTE: This feature does not work for all users.
Keep the Account Widget in the Foreground You can set the Account Widget to stay on top of all your windows with this setting. It's off by default.
Web Browser Choice The Account Widget offers you the ability to open links using whichever Web browser you prefer. For some browsers you have the choice to open links in a new window or to reuse the same window each time. The ability to open links in an existing window is affected by the settings within your browser. For more information, see Can I specify the links to open in a new browser window, not an existing one?
Automatic Log Out The Account Widget will automatically log out for you after 10 minutes, by default. You can change that using this control.
Close When you're done working with the Preferences window, click this button to close it.
Connections Tab
This panel offers you the ability to specify how the Account Widget will access the Internet. Note: It is recommended that only users comfortable with the fundamentals of networking adjust any of these settings.

Direct Connections A direct connection is the most straightforward way for the Account Widget to access the Internet, especially if you're using a regular modem or dial-up connection and not a network. This is the default setting, and if the Account Widget is working, there is no need to change it.
Use Automatic Proxy This setting forces the Account Widget to use the security setting as specified in your Internet Options control panel. Note: Only try this setting if a direct connection does not work.
Specify Proxy The Account Widget can tunnel through a firewall and use a proxy in a secure network environment. By selecting this radio button you can specify a proxy address and port.
Proxy Address & Port These are required when using the Account Widget on a network that is set up to use a specific proxy. Your network administrator can provide you with these values if you don't already know them.
Use HTTP Authentication Selecting this checkbox allows you to enter a login and password, should those be required for access to the proxy.
Login & Password Enter your login or username and password in these fields. If you're not sure what they are, talk to your network administrator.
Close When you're done working with the Preferences window, click this button to close it.
You should only adjust these settings if you cannot log in or you're not seeing any items in the RSS Feeds Klip. If you need help with these options you should contact your network administrator.
