The Toolbar
Toolbar Buttons
The toolbar contains buttons for managing the Account Widget and how it's displayed on your computer.

Connect/Disconnect
When connected, the light will be green. This means the Account Widget can get updates and communicate with American Express. By clicking the green light you change it to red, and the Account Widget is disconnected. This means you won't get any updates.
Menu
Clicking this button opens a menu of choices for managing all aspects of the Account Widget. See below for details.
Links
Clicking this button opens a menu of links to American Express Web pages and services.
Drag Bar
This part of the toolbar can be used to move the Account Widget around your screen.
Online Help
Clicking the Help button launches your web browser and directs you to the online User Guide.
Minimize to System Tray
This button minimizes the Account Widget to the Windows system tray.
American Express Logo
Pressing this button will collapse the entire Account Widget down to a small square. See below for more information.
Banner
This region displays images from American Express on other products and services. Click on the banner to find out more on the product or service.
Toolbar Menu
The majority of the Account Widget's controls reside in the toolbar's menu. Alternatively, you can right-click anywhere on the toolbar, account information section or system tray icon to access the same menu.

Collapse and Expand the Account Widget
You can run the Account Widget can in two different modes; expanded (the default mode) and collapsed. The collapsed mode is handy if you want to keep the amount of space used by the Account Widget to a minimum, or if you want to quickly hide your account information.
To enter collapsed mode, click on the American Express logo. To expand the Account Widget, click the logo again.
