Contact your financial institution to make payment from your account.

Set up an automatic monthly payment from your account.

Enrol for an automatic payment plan

• Direct debit will run 10 days after the issue date for Charge Cards and deduct the full amount. Credit Cards will run on the due date and you can set up the payment as the minimum, fixed or full balance.

1. Make Cheque payable to American Express.
2. Write your Card number and name on the back of the cheque.
3. Post in envelope provided or address to:

• Please DO NOT fold or fasten your cheque and remittance slip with staples or paperclips.

You can pay your account in person with cash or cheque at either:

1. Australia Post Offices (cards issued in Australia only), or
2. American Express Foreign Exchange Offices in Australia

To make payments in person you must present your current Card Account Statement.

Please note that, if you are enrolled in Online Statements, you cannot make payments in person at Australia Post.

• Please allow 24 hours processing time for payments.
• Paying in person incurs a $2 processing fee.
• Cash payments are limited to AUD 6,500 or the outstanding balance as shown on your current Card Account Statement, whichever is the lesser.
