Your Platinum Card can usually be replaced within 24 hours from almost anywhere in the world. Emergency Cheque CashingIf you run short while Travelling, you can cash a personal cheque in most American Express Travel Service Offices at more than 1,700 locations around the world and in more than 130 countries. To use this service, simply present your Platinum Card when you arrive. Emergency Cash Advances*In the event of an emergency as a result of loss or theft of all necessary Travelling documents, funds up to US$1,000 can be delivered in local currency to you.
