American Express^® Business Gold Rewards Card

1. To qualify for a Welcome Bonus of 25,000 points you must have at least $3,000 in net purchases posted to your account in your first 3 months of Card membership. Account must be in good standing. This offer is not applicable to holders of an existing American Express Small Business Card product. Points may be transferred to select third party frequent flyer or loyalty programs participating in the Membership Rewards^® program and then redeemed for one economy class round-trip airline ticket. Once points are transferred, they are subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions of such third party program. Currently, up to 25,000 points are required for a round-trip economy class flight to continental United States (including Alaska) and Canada (plus applicable fees and taxes). When we stop offering the Welcome Bonus, we reserve the right to accept applications but you will not be eligible for the Welcome Bonus.
   
   
2. Account must be in good standing. Membership Rewards points will be earned by the Basic Cardmember on the amount of all purchases, less credits and adjustments. Interest, annual fees, other fees and charges for travellers cheques and foreign currencies are not purchases and do not qualify for Membership Rewards points.
   
   
3. As a charge card, the balance must always be paid in full each month in which no interest charges will apply. The interest free grace period is 28,29, 30 or 31 days from the closing date of the current statement to the closing date of the next statement depending on the number of days in the calendar month in which the closing date occurs. The number of interest free days varies based on a variety of factors, including when charges are posted to your account, whether your account is in good standing, and the closing date of your statement.
   
   
4. Membership Rewards points can only be redeemed for a statement credit towards an eligible travel purchase charged to your Card. There is a minimum redemption requirement of 1,000 points for a $10 credit and redemptions must be made within 12 months after the travel purchase is posted to your account. 5. Your account must be in good standing. You agree to only make recommendations to known friends or family members with whom you have a relationship and who have confirmed to you that they want to receive this communication. You must not send recommendations to people you do not know. The referral bonus will be awarded to you based on each eligible referral for which American Express receives an application that is subsequently approved, subject to all applicable terms and conditions. Due to the confidential nature of the approval process, you will not be notified when applications are approved or declined and any individual you have referred must agree to allow your account to be bonused upon approval or you will not receive the referral bonus. If our records indicate that any person you have referred has opted not to receive e-mails from us, your referral will not be sent and you will not receive the referral bonus offered as part of this program. Referral program varies by product and may be modified, suspended, cancelled or otherwise terminated without notice. Cannot be combined with any other offer. If the people that you refer have already applied for the product that you are referring without participating in this program, neither you nor they will be eligible for referral bonus offered as part of this program. Likewise, if the people you refer decide to apply for a Card through this referral program other than the one you have specifically recommended, the referral bonus for which you and they may be eligible will vary. Referral program participants should allow 8 to 10 weeks for the award of the referral bonus once program criteria have been met and must be enrolled in the corresponding loyalty program when the referral bonus is awarded. 6. Each year if, on or before the annual reset date you reach $50,000 in net purchases charged to your account, you will earn 15,000 bonus points, and if you reach $100,000 in net purchases you will earn an additional 25,000 points. On the annual reset date, the amount of annual net purchases resets to zero. Account must be in good standing
   
   
7. Membership Rewards points transfers must be made in increments of 100 points, with a minimum redemption requirement of 1,000 points for each transfer. 1,000 Membership Rewards points = 1,000 Aeroplan Miles. 8. No pre-set spending limit does not mean unlimited spending. Your purchases are approved based on a variety of factors, including your credit record, account history and personal resources. Proof of resources and security may be required.
   
   
9. Subject to the Electronic Payment Program Agreement and availability of the service, you can request a same day payment prior to 8 PM Eastern Time or , if your account is in good standing, a future payment within 25 days scheduled by your next due date (or 28 days after the date of your statement for Corporate Card). However, your first payment can only be scheduled 3 calendar days after enrolment of the bank account. Although we may credit your American Express account it may not appear on your Online Services summary and may not be cleared through your bank until a subsequent day.
   
   
10. Purchase must be charged in full to an American Express Card issued by Amex Bank of Canada. Subject to availability and to event and ticketing agent terms, conditions and fees. Not all seats are available. All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges.
    
    
11. Underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada. Coverage is in effect as long as you have fully charged your rental to your American Express^® Business Gold Rewards Card. There are specific conditions that apply to who may rent and drive the rental vehicle, the length of rental and the type of vehicle covered.

14. Travel Accident Insurance provides automatic coverage of up to $100,000 of Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance when you fully charge your plane, train, ship or bus tickets to your Card. Use the Card to book tickets for your spouse, dependant children (under 23) or any Supplementary Cardmember and they will also be covered. Spouse and dependant children (under 23) of Supplementary Cardmembers are also covered. Travel Accident Insurance is Underwritten by ACE INA Life Insurance, Head Office in Canada: Toronto, Ontario, under Master Policy TMH600135.
    
    
15. All the services associated with the Travel Emergency Assistance are provided worldwide with the exception of some countries (it is best to check with Customer Service). In addition, services may be limited or prevented by acts of God, war, civil commotion, labour disputes, unavailability of goods or services, or refusal of permission by local authorities.
    
    
16. Employee Card Misuse Protection is not insurance. It is a benefit made available to you by Amex Bank of Canada and Administered by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada. Please read the terms and conditions of the Employee Card Misuse Protection carefully, as they include specific terms, limitations, conditions and exclusions that may affect your coverage.

18. When you charge the full price on eligible purchases to your Business Gold Rewards Card, the coverage given under the manufacturer’s original warranty is automatically doubled for up to one additional year.
