Points from your Membership Rewards Tier Program Account may be transferred to your Program Account in the Membership Rewards Credit Card Tier. This will allow you to pool points in your Credit Card Tier, making points eligible for redemption for all rewards, except the Aeroplan Program and Points for Credit. You cannot combine points earned in the Credit Card Tier with points earned in the Membership Rewards Tier.

Providing you are already enrolled, it takes approximately 3-5 business days for your points to appear in your Frequent Flyer or Frequent Guest Account. (For Cathay Pacific Asia Miles transfers, it takes a minimum of 5 business days.) If you request that points are transferred or processed faster than the 3-5 business days, a rush transaction fee of 3,500 points will be debited from your Membership Rewards account. Transfers to Aeroplan and Cathay Pacific Asia Miles are not eligible for this rush service.

No. To transfer your points to your eligible frequent flyer or frequent guest you must first register the program with us, then login to Online Services to process the transfer.

From the time you call, it takes approximately 2 weeks to receive your Reward Certificate.

Some Reward Certificates are valid for 6 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated on the reward.

Only the Basic Cardmember can redeem points accumulated in the account but you can give your Reward Certificate to someone else. Sign the certificate before the person uses it and if necessary, advise the establishment in advance that the certificate will be redeemed by someone else.

With a few rewards, there are periods during the year when they cannot be redeemed. See the details on your Reward Certificate. For hotel or car rental availability, please speak directly with the hotel or car rental company after you have reviewed the terms and conditions.
