You can apply online and receive an instant decision. Please call
1-800-575-2273 now, to apply. Alternatively, you can download an application
and fax it. (Please note that residents of Newfoundland and Quebec cannot apply
by phone).
How do I inquire about the status of my card application?
To inquire about the status of your card application please call American
Express New Accounts at 1-800-575-2273. Please note that it takes approximately
7 to 10 business days to process a new application.
