The Safety of Travelers Cheques
Unlike cash, lost or stolen American Express Travelers Cheques can be easily replaced throughout the world. Replacement of Cheques can usually be quickly arranged*.

How to Use Travelers Cheques
Using Travelers Cheques is very simple. When first purchased, Travelers Cheques must be signed (Chinese and English are both acceptable) in the upper left-hand corner in order to be reimbursable if lost or stolen. Remember also to store the purchase record and the Cheques separately. When you are ready to cash the Cheque, the acceptor must watch you countersign the Cheque in the lower left-hand corner.
American Express Travelers Cheques currently offer 6 currencies and more than 20 denominations. Travelers Cheques can be easily purchased with the currency denominations which has been shown as below at participating financial institutions in China..
