Golf Offer - Terms & Conditions

  1. Heavily Subsidized Green Fees are applicable to American Express® Platinum Credit Card, Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers ("Cardmember").
  2. On Weekdays (Monday to Friday), there must be a minimum of 2 players per flight, of which a maximum of 2 are Cardmembers. At peak times during the weekday, American Express Int'l, Inc. reserves the right to only accept bookings of 4 players. In addition, the golf clubs reserve the right to pair fewer than 4 players together.
  3. On Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and Public Holidays*, there must be a minimum of 4 players per flight and a minimum of 2 guests per flight.
  4. Surcharge may apply for night time golf, please contact the respective golf clubs for further details.
  5. Bookings must be made at least four days in advance and cannot be made more than seven days in advance.
  6. Green fees for Cardmembers' guest(s) will be as follows:

  7. Bookings will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis. In the event that the American Express allocation is fully booked at the requested club, American Express will endeavour to fulfill the Cardmembers' golf request at the other golf clubs.
  8. All golf expenses incurred at the golf club including the guest's green fees and other related expenses for services provided by the golf club must be charged to the American Express Platinum Credit Card.
  9. The Cardmember and his/her guest(s) will pay for the use of Golf Cart, Caddies and Lockers at the normal published rates unless otherwise indicated.
  10. The Cardmember is required to pay for his/her own golf insurance at the respective clubs unless otherwise indicated.
  11. The golf club may require golfers to produce their handicap card upon registration.
  12. There will be an administration fee of HK$50 for any changes made upon confirmation of booking.
  13. For Typhoon and Black Rain, the respective golf clubs' cancellation and refund policy will apply to the Cardmember and guest(s).
  14. American Express Int'l, Inc. reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
  15. In case of any dispute, American Express Int'l, Inc. reserves the right of final decision.
  16. American Express Int'l, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any loss of whatever nature resulting from the Cardmember taking up the Offer.

Cancellation Policy - Monday to Friday

  1. Any cancellation must be made three days in advance prior to tee-off date.
  2. The following cancellation charges will apply to both Cardmember and his/her guest(s):
    1. 50% of the above green fee rate will be charged for cancellations made two days before tee-off date.
    2. 100% of the above green fee rate will be charged for cancellations made one day before tee-off date, no show or late arrivals.

Cancellation Policy: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays*

  1. Any cancellation must be made five days in advance prior to tee-off date.
  2. The following cancellation charges will apply to both Cardmember and his/her guest(s):
    1. 50% of the above green fee rate will be charged for cancellations made four days before tee-off date.
    2. 75% of the above green fee rate will be charged for cancellations made three days before tee-off date.
    3. 100% of the above green fee rate will be charged for cancellations made one day before tee-off date, no show or late arrivals.

* Public Holiday definition:
- Macau Golf & Country Club: Macau & Hong Kong holidays apply
- Dongguan Hillview Golf Club: China holidays apply
- Palm Island Resort: Hong Kong holidays apply
- Shenzhen Airport Golf Club: Hong Kong holidays apply
- Zhuhai Golden Gulf Golf Club: China holidays apply
