WELCOME OFFER

  1. The welcome offer is valid from February 9, 2012 to April 30, 2012, both dates inclusive ("Promotional Period").
  2. The welcome offer is only applicable for the American Express Platinum Credit Card application submitted online during the Promotional Period via americanexpress.com.hk or www.playeveryday.com.hk and online application has successfully been approved.
  3. Welcome offer cannot be changed after online application is submitted.
  4. HK$1,000 PARKnSHOP Cash Vouchers; Cardmember will receive a total of ten HK$100 PARKnSHOP Cash Vouchers. The PARKnSHOP Cash Vouchers will be sent to Cardmember within six weeks upon reaching the spending threshold of HK$5,000 within the first three months.   7. If the Basic Cardmember cancels the American Express Platinum Credit Card from American Express within 12 months of card issuance, American Express reserves the right to debit the original price of the welcome offers from the card account.
  8. American Express International, Inc. reserves the right to change the offer Terms and Conditions and terminate this program without prior notice.
  9. Should any dispute arise, the decision of American Express International, Inc. shall be final.
  10. The annual fee for the American Express Platinum Credit Card is HK$1,600, with the entitlement of two Supplementary Platinum Credit Cards. Additional Supplementary Platinum Credit Card carries an annual fee of HK$800.

  1. Offer is applicable to Basic Cardmember of the American Express Platinum Credit Card but not valid for Supplementary Cardmembers.
  2. Each Basic Cardmember can only enjoy the offer for one table on each occasion, with the number of diners being no less than two and no more than twelve. Splitting of the table and/or bill are not allowed.
  3. Discount is applicable to food from á-la-carte menu for dinner (not lunch) dine-in only, excluding all beverages and wine, tea & condiments, hotpot, pre-meal snacks, 10% service charge, festive products, set menus and discounted food items.

MOVIE PRIVILEGES

  1. Payment must be made with Platinum Credit Card.
  2. A handling fee will be charged by Cinema.com.hk Ltd. on booking via Broadway, PALACE or AMC Cinemas websites.
  3. Discount and the Buy-1-get-1-free offer are applicable to purchase of movie tickets at Broadway, PALACE or AMC Cinemas ticket counters or through cinema websites.
  4. Discount is only applicable to regular priced movie tickets.
  5. Buy-1-get-1-free offer is only applicable to shows from Friday 8am to Saturday 4am, and is not applicable to 3D movies and Film Festival.
  6. Discount is applicable to a maximum of 8 tickets per transaction.
  7. Discount is not applicable to tickets at HK$35 or below, all shows on Tuesday and morning shows.
  8. Discount is not applicable to the handling fee.
  9. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers.
  10. Discount and the Buy-1-get-1-free offer are not applicable to films with special arrangement with film distributors.

PLATINUM REWARDS

    Membership Rewards Turbo Program
  1. A spending cap applies to the Membership Rewards Turbo Program. Double points are applicable to the first HK$160,000 spent for each program year. From HK$160,001 and onwards, each HK$1 spent will entitle you to 1 point only. Points accrual is subject to the American Express Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions.
  2. This program is subject to your Card Account remaining in good standing and is not cancelled for any reason.
  3. The air miles conversion rate is 15 Membership Rewards points for 1 air mile.
    10 times Membership Rewards points offer
  1. Cardmembers will enjoy a total of 10 times Membership Rewards points (that is 8 bonus points per dollar spent on top of the regular points earned under the Turbo program) with Platinum 10 times Bonus Partners. There is no spending cap on the 8 bonus points per dollar spent that may be earned under this 10 times Membership Rewards point program but the spending cap of Membership Rewards Turbo program still applies.
  2. Points accrual is subject to American Express Membership Rewards Terms and Conditions.
  3. 10 times Membership Rewards points are not applicable to Interest-Free Installment Plan for the 10 times Bonus Partners.

GOLF BENEFITS

  1. Heavily Subsidized Green Fees are applicable to American Express Platinum Credit Card, Basic and Supplementary Cardmembers ("Cardmembers").
  2. Course Access Policy:
    1. Minimum 2 balls per flight on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and 4 balls per flight on weekend including Public Holidays (HK and China).
    2. Maximum 2 Cardmember golfers per flight.
    3. At peak times during weekdays, American Express International, Inc. reserves the right to only accept bookings of 4 players. In addition, the golf clubs reserve the right to pair fewer than 4 players together.
  3. Bookings Policy:
    1. All bookings must be made at least 4 days in advance.
    2. Cardmembers cannot book more than 7 days in advance.
    3. Green fees for Cardmembers' guest(s) are subject to change at any time. Please call Platinum Assist for details.
    4. Bookings will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis. In the event that the American Express allocation is fully booked at the requested club, American Express will endeavour to fulfill the Cardmembers' golf request at the other golf clubs.
    5. There will be an administration fee of HK$100 for any changes made upon confirmation of booking.
  4. Heavily Subsidized Green Fees:
    1. Golf Clubs in China: RMB100 (weekdays)/ RMB200 (weekend) for 18-hole
    2. Golf Club in Hong Kong: HK$100 (weekdays)/ HK$200 (weekend) for 9-hole.
    * Surcharge may apply for night time golf, please contact the respective golf clubs for further details.
  5. All golf expenses incurred at the golf club including the guest's green fees and other related expenses for services provided by the golf club must be charged to the American Express Platinum Credit Card.
  6. The golf club will provide one caddy for every two golfers; however, the ratio may be amended by the golf club subject to the availability of caddies at that time.
  7. The Cardmember and his/her guest(s) will pay for the use of Golf Cart, Caddies and Lockers at the normal published rates unless otherwise indicated.
  8. The Cardmember is required to pay for his/her own golf insurance at the respective clubs unless otherwise indicated.
  9. The golf club may require golfers to provide their handicap card upon registration.
  10. No charge will be made for cancellations if weather prevents play due to the event of a Typhoon 8 or above and/or Black Rain as determined by the Hong Kong Observatory. Or by the ferry company where sea transportation is halted or cancelled due to bad weather conditions. For any other adverse weather conditions that prohibit play, this will be subject to golf club's decisions. If the golfer has started their round club rules will apply.
  11. For SkyCity Nine Eagles, Cardmembers and their guests must present their Frequent Flyer Membership card in order to play.
  12. The cancellation of transportation and/or hotel accommodation is subject to golf club's decision where applicable.
