DAY 4 - DEPART TO BLITAR

  • Before leaving Tugu Malang, enjoy another lavish breakfast served wherever your heart desires.
  • On your dde to Blitar, enjoy the countryside scenery and the beautiful dce fields along the way. Arriving in the city, visit the tomb of Sukarno, first President and Founding Father of Indonesia. Also visit the library and museum which houses Sukarno's books, photos, paintings and other memorabilia, continue to Istana Gebang, Sukarno's childhood home.
  • At Hotel Tugu Blitar, one of the oldest hotel in Indonesia known formerly as "The Hotel Centrum" built in 1850, stay at the Tugu Suite and refresh with our welcome traditional healthy drink.
  • Enjoy youraftemoon High-Tea at Waroeng Djawa, a humble traditional Javanese-style stall lit by oil lamps, attended by Mbah Man (Grandfather Man), a sweet Javanese man with the warmest toothless smile and most humble Javanese hospitality.

DAY 5 - THE REMINISCENCE OF MAJAPAHIT TEMPLES

  • Enjoy lavish breakfast at garden courtyard with giant shady trees streaked with moming sun.
  • Approaching afternoon, explore Sawentar Temple, built eadier in mid 13th Century - with an architecture and design that has some similarities to the temples in Champa or Vietnam. It can only be reached by following a narrow path passing a small traditional village. The base of the temple lies several meters below the present ground level; buried under a mass of lava, presumably from an eruption of the nearby volcanic Mount Kelud. Continue to Penataran Temple, the largest intact Majapahit temples. The construction began around 1200 dudng the Singosad dynasty, but the temple complex took some 250 years to complete. And what we see today is almost entirely the work of Majapahit architects and builders dating from the 14th century.
  • Still at the complex of Penataran Temple, enjoy yourafternoon High-Tea and indulge yourself Wth the most breathtaking sunset dinner by the temple.

DAY 6 - DEPART TO SURABAYA

  • Enjoy a lavish breakfast at The Colony Restaurant with an exotic East Javanese atmosphere from the Dutch colonial era.
  • Depart to Surabaya airport in private car.
