When an American Express Cardmember charges a covered purchase with their Card account, anywhere in the world it is automatically protected against accidental damage or theft for up to 90 days from the date of purchase. This plan will extend the terms of the original manufacturer's warranty, up to one additional year, on warranties of five years or less that are eligible in the U.S. Covered items must be purchased entirely with the American Express Credit Card. In the event that The Gold Card is lost, stolen or damaged, just call 1-800-327-1267 from Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands and request a Card Replacement. You can also approach the nearest American Express Travel Service Office and request an Emergency Card Replacement. |
