Getaway Guardian Conditions
- Cover is available per person. Each child is an additional person
- Cover is available for international travel only
- You will be covered up to the age of 70 years
- You will be covered for emergency medical and or dental expenses which are provided outside New Zealand or which are incurred within 12 months from the date of receiving the treatment
Bonus – ACE Rescue Card
ACE Rescue is a 24-hour emergency referral service. Your ACE Rescue card will allow you to call from anywhere in the world, reverse charge for emergency assistance and advice.
What Getaway Guardian Will Not Cover You For
General exclusions include: being a pilot or crew member of any aircraft, war or war like activities, any existing medical condition, any claim in relation to pregnancy where there is prior knowledge of the pregnancy or after the 24th week of pregnancy, hunting, racing (other than on foot), polo playing, professional sports, mountaineering or rock climbing, bungee jumping, scuba diving, motorcycling, all aerial activities, insolvency of any tourism services provider and acts of terrorism.
Note, there is a $100 Excess on: Overseas Medical Expenses, Additional Expenses, Overseas Dental Expenses, Cancellation Charges, Luggage and Travel Documents and Replacement of Money.
