   How do I redeem my points?

Redeeming your points for rewards online is easy:

To redeem:
  1. After you have selected a reward, click on the "Redeem Now" button on the reward detail page.
  2. You will be prompted to login to your Card account by entering your User ID and Password.
  3. You'll be told how many points you have available and the name of the reward.
  4. By default the redemption certificate is sent to your billing address. If you like us to send the voucher to an alternate Singapore delivery address, please fill in the delivery address in the fields provided. Note, alternate delivery address is applicable to Singapore addresses only.
  5. Tick the box to confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions. Then click "Continue".
  6. Click "Submit" to confirm that the delivery details and reward item is correct.
  7. Enter your Card Account number and the 4-digit number printed on the Card. Click "Continue" to complete your request.
  8. You will be presented a "Thank You" page with points balance and a confirmation number. Quote this confirmation number when you have any enquiries about your redemption.
  9. Please allow 14 days for the delivery of your certificate.

   How do I transfer my points?

Transferring your points online is easy:

To transfer:
  1. Login to your Card Account by entering your User ID and Password.
  2. Then select the "Transfer Your Points" option under Membership Rewards™ and click "Go".
  3. You'll be told how many points you have available. Select the program partner. Then click on "Transfer now".
  4. You must have your partner account linked to your Traveler Option account first before you can effect a transaction online. To do so, call the Membership Rewards™ hotline at 1800 299 1997.
  5. Fill in the number of reward points to be transferred. Tick at the box to confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions. Then click "Continue".
  6. Click "Submit" to confirm that the reward details and points transferred is correct.
  7. You will be presented a "Thank You" page with points balance and a confirmation number. Quote this confirmation number when you have any enquiries about your redemption.
  8. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your points to appear on your Frequent Flyer or Frequent Guest programme account.

   Do Membership Rewards points expire?

No. Unlike other card rewards programmes where your points expire in as little as one year, your Membership Rewards points do not expire*. So, you can save your points for higher value rewards including electronic gadgets and travel.

   How can I earn points more quickly?

Use the American Express Card for your daily purchases instead of cash, cheques or another card. Supplementary Cards for your loved ones will also add to your points balance. Your enrolment in Membership Rewards also awards you with 5 Membership Rewards points for every S$1.60 you spend in participating restaurants and retail outlets. For our Platinum Cardmembers, your membership yields an incredible 10 Membership Rewards points for every S$1.60 spent at over 180 participating outlets in the Platinum Partners Programme.    If I don’t have quite enough points for a reward, is it possible to buy them?

Yes. You can top up your points at just S$30 for 1,000 Membership Rewards points. Each purchase top-up has to accompanied by a reward redemption. Terms and conditions apply.

   Which airlines can I choose?

When you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards Frequent Traveller Option, you can convert your Membership Rewards points to Frequent Flyer miles and redeem your points with over 40 top airlines. Our Frequent Flyer Partners include KrisFlyer, Enrich, Asia Miles, Dynasty Flyer and Royal Orchid Plus.

   Which hotel groups can I choose?

When you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards Frequent Traveller Option, you can transfer your Membership Rewards points to of three Frequent Guest programmes introduced by Hilton HHonors®, Priority Club® Worldwide and Starwood Preferred GuestSM Programme. This gives you access to thousands of luxurious hotels worldwide.

   Can I link my Membership Rewards account to a partner frequent traveller programme?

When you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards Frequent Traveller Option and belong to a participating Frequent Flyer or Frequent Guest Partner(s), you can call the Membership Rewards Hotline at 1800 299 1997 to link your Partner account(s) to your Membership Rewards account.

ONCE I haVE REDEEMED MY MEMBERSHIP REWARDS POINTS FOR A REWARD, CAN I CANCEL THE REDEMPTION AND  REQUEST FOR A REFUND OF THE POINTS?

No. Once points have been exchanged for a reward the points cannot be converted back into your Membership Rewards account.

   How long does it take to receive a Membership Rewards certificate?

Upon redemption, please allow 14 days for the delivery of your Membership Rewards certificate.
