To apply for the Gold Business Card, you should be able to say yes to the following.:

• I am aged 18 or over
• The company has been trading for more than one year and has a current UK Bank or Building Society account
• My personal income is over £20,000
• I have a permanent UK home address
• I/The Business have/has no County Court Judgements for non-payment of debt
• Pay annual fee of £125 (Tax deductable)
• I understand that I will not be eligible for any Welcome Bonus award if I have held any American Express Charge Cards in the past six months.

To ensure timely completion of the application for your Gold Business Card, it’s best to make sure you have the following information with you before you start to apply for the Card.

Personal details:
The About You section is where you tell us about yourself. Please provide your accurate home address to ensure timely processing of your application. In addition to this you’ll need to provide:

• Your bank or building society account details
• Your gross annual income
• Any existing American Express Card number (this can help speed up the decision-making process of your application).

Business details:
When completing the application, please note that the address required is the Registered Address of the business. To complete the application process, we may request additional details for verification and authentication purposes. Do ensure you have the following details at hand, if relevant for your business:

• Name, date of birth, and address details of any Beneficiary Owners who own 25% or more of the business
• Name, date of birth, and address details of at least two directors of the business if applicable.
