Nectar points are not earned on Balance Transfers unless stated otherwise, Cash Advances, American Express Travellers Cheque purchases, Foreign Exchange and Express Cash Transactions, interest, any spending in excess of your Credit Limit, charges for dishonoured cheques, late payment or Referral Charges and American Express Credit Card finance charges. American Express reserves the right to vary the Nectar points you collect from American Express on spending at any Nectar sponsor.Written details are available upon request.   2. American Express may vary the %APR, interest rates and other charges from time to time. The minimum monthly payment will be 3% of the outstanding balance or £5, whichever is greater. Of course you may pay off your balance in full at any time. The Nectar for Business Credit Card Balance Transfer calculation of 18.9% p.a. assumes a monthly interest rate of 1.46% p.a. interest based on the average line of credit of £1,500 with no annual fee. The Nectar for Business Credit Card standard interest rate for goods and services is typical 18.9%APR variable for goods and services and 27.9% per annum, 2.08% per month including Transaction Charge for Cash Withdrawals. You will have access to a credit limit of at least £700. There is a commission of 2.99% on foreign charges. There is a £3 fee for copies of records of transactions and a £5 fee for copies of statements (please note your statements sent to you each month when you have used your card will not incur this charge). There is a cash withdrawal charge which is £3.00 or 3% of the withdrawal, whichever is greater.
  3. American Express reserves the right to refuse any Balance Transfer requests. For example, we cannot accept Balance Transfers from overdue accounts, exceeded Credit Limits, overdrafts, loans, HP agreements or any American Express Accounts. American Express is not liable for any overdue payments or interest incurred. Payments to card companies will normally be made within 30 days from our receipt of your statements and we will advise you when payment is made. Payments to your Card Account are applied first to transferred balances, including transferred balances benefiting from promotional rates.
  4. When you use your Card online you will not be held responsible for unauthorised charges.
  5. a) Purchase Protection: Up to 20,000 for every 365 day period, for eligible items stolen or accidentally damaged within 90 days of purchase. Exclusions apply. See Summary of Benefits for full details and requirements.
    b) Refund Protection Benefit: Up to £200 per eligible item and £750 for every 365 day period. Exclusions apply. See Summary of Benefits for full details and requirements.
    c)American Express Services Europe Limited ("AESEL")" makes various benefits available to cardmembers. These benefits derive from contracts which AESEL has made with third parties which AESEL is free to amend, extend or terminate at its sole discretion. These benefits do not form part of AESEL's contract with you but AESEL will aim to inform you 30 days in advance of any changes to the available benefits which may be to your detriment. One of the benefits currently available is the benefit of contracts of insurance made between AESEL and certain insurers. This includes  Purchase Protection and Refund Protection Benefits. You will lose these benefits if you cease to be a cardmember. Full details of the insurance benefits currently available and the exclusions that apply to these benefits will be found in the Summary of Benefits document.
