Important Information Regarding the American Express® Travellers Cheque Card

American Express has decided to discontinue the Travellers Cheque Card. We thank you for using the American Express® Travellers Cheque Card.

All Cards were cancelled on 31 October, 2007 and are no longer usable. All Customer refunds have now been issued.

For your future travel needs, we recommend American Express® Travellers Cheques as an excellent alternative.

Why is my Travellers Cheque Card being cancelled?

Due to changing market conditions, American Express decided to no longer offer the Travellers Cheque Card.

How can I get a refund of my balance?

All Customer refunds have now been issued. If you have not received your refund, please write into American Express Services Europe Limited, Department Unit 3050, Edward Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN88 1AH. Please ensure you quote your Travellers Cheque Card number on all correspondence.

What can I use as an alternative to my Travellers Cheque Card?

For your future travel needs, we recommend American Express® Travellers Cheques as an excellent alternative. They are safe and secure and will be replaced if lost or stolen.

What should I do with my Travellers Cheque Card?

Please destroy the Card immediately by cutting through the magnetic stripe at least once. Please keep a note of your Card number, for future reference, until you have received your refund.
