RETURN PROTECTION¹SHOP WITH MORE CONFIDENCE

If you try to return an eligible item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back, American Express® may provide a refund. 
Use Your Eligible Card - American Express® may refund the full purchase price (excluding shipping and handling) if you purchased it entirely with your eligible American Express® Card. Items are eligible if they are in “like new” condition and if they cannot be returned to the merchant from which they were originally purchased. 
Coverage -You will only be reimbursed up to $300 per eligible item, excluding shipping and handling, and up to $1,000 per Card account per calendar year. Purchases must be made in the 50 United States of America, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Please read important exclusions and restrictions.

Coverage is limited to 90 days from purchase, up to $300 per item and up to a maximum of $1,000 per Card Member account per calendar year. Shipping and handling costs for the purchase will not be refunded.
