Pay Bill Online

Pay Bill Online allows you to register your bank details securely via Online Services, and then pay your American Express bill from either Online Services or the Amex Mobile App.

You only need to register your details once, so to setup online today you will need your BSB and account number handy.

Pay your bill using BPAY®

Pay your bill using BPAY®

BPAY® payments need to be made from your bank account. To pay your Credit Card bill by BPAY®, use the following details:

  • Biller Code (all cards excluding David Jones cards): 5082
  • Biller Code (David Jones Credit Cards): 88013
  • Customer Reference number: your 15 digit Card number

Please note that it can take up to 3 days for BPAY® payments to process so leave enough time before your payment due date.

A Direct Debit lets you pay bills automatically, so you don't have to worry about missing due dates. Simply provide your bank account details to American Express, and tell us the amount you’d like to pay each month.

To pay by cheque, please make your cheque payable to American Express. Then write your Card number and name on the back of the cheque and send it to:
American Express, GPO Box 4344, Sydney, NSW 2001.

Remember to factor in the days it takes the post office to deliver letters so you don’t miss your due date.

Payment in person

Payment in person

You can make payments in person at any Australia Post Office. Simply take your cash or cheque with you, your Card and your current posted Card Account statement. Cash payments are limited to no greater than your current Card Account statement and you will be charged a $3 handling fee. It can take up to 24 hours to process your payment. If you are enrolled into Online statements then you will not be able to pay in person.
