You can create an Amex Express Checkout account with your Bank issued American Express Card. You can then register as many as 10 cards and 10 shipping addresses in one account. Once you have an account, lookout for the Amex Express Checkout button when making a purchase at participating online retailers. Simply click on the button during checkout and login with your email address and password. You can then choose one of your registered cards and preferred shipping address to complete the purchase. Amex Express Checkout will auto-fill payment and shipping details into the checkout page - saving you time. You’ll be returned to the merchant’s website to complete the order.

Yes. You can sign up here, or by clicking the Amex Express Checkout button during checkout at participating online retailers. Once you have completed the sign up process, Amex Express Checkout will remember your details for next time.

Yes, you’ll need to update your Amex Express Checkout account by adding the replacement Card details and removing the old one. During the update, you’ll need to provide the 3-4 digit printed Card security code, Card identification code or Card verification value (PCSC, CID or CVV) on the replacement Card for security purposes.
Don’t worry if you forget your password. Just click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You’ll then be taken to a page that lets you enter the email address associated with your Amex Express Checkout account and can follow the simple instructions to reset your password.

Yes. Storing your information securely is part of how we make checkout so fast and easy. When you select a payment card and shipping address for an online purchase, we pass this information on to the merchant to process and complete that transaction. We do not pass your information to anyone else and always use your information in accordance with our Online Privacy Statement.
When you use Amex Express Checkout, your transaction will appear on your card statement provided by your card issuer just like any other transaction made at that merchant. Express Checkout does not process your payment; it simply provides your card details to the merchant who processes it in the usual way.
To deactivate your Amex Express Checkout account, go to the "My Profile" page of your Amex Express Checkout account using the Account dropdown menu, and select "Delete Account" and follow the prompts.
Once you’ve completed the Amex Express Checkout steps, you’ll be returned to the merchant’s website to complete the order. Your purchase will be processed by the merchant in the usual way and your confirmation will follow the merchant’s standard checkout confirmation process.
Order returns will follow the same procedures as any standard online transaction at that merchant. You should refer to the merchant’s terms and conditions and return policies for further information.
If you suspect your Amex Express Checkout account has been used for fraudulent activity, or unauthorised charges appear on your card statement, contact your card’s issuer and reset your Amex Express Checkout password immediately.
