Switch to Online Statements
To reduce Card fraud, always check your monthly statement and account balance. This can be done easily via American Express online services. Switch to online statements and rest assured in the knowledge that your monthly statement is stored on our secure website, and can only be accessed by logging in with your User ID and Password. In fact it's more secure than a statement that arrives via the post, and can only be accessed by you. If you suspect there's a fraudulent transaction on your account, let American Express know immediately.

Stay up-to-date and in control with Card Alerts
You don’t need to wait for your monthly statements to arrive with SMS/email Alerts. Sign up (at no extra cost) and we’ll send to you via your choice of either SMS or email your weekly balance updates, payment confirmation and notification when you’re approaching your credit limit (Credit Card only). Simply update your preferences anytime online - If you no longer wish to receive Alerts.

Purchase Protection Benefit

Some American Express Cards include Purchase Protection. For eligible items which are stolen or damaged accidentally, the Purchase Protection benefit will replace, repair or refund the item for up to 90 days after the date of purchase. Limits apply. Refund Protection Benefit

Some American Express Cards include the Refund Protection. We’ll take it back when others won’t. With the Refund Protection benefit, if you're dissatisfied with any eligible purchase you made with the Card and the merchant won't take it back, we'll reimburse you for the purchase price, subject to exclusions, up to $500 per item.
