1. Additional Card Members. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members. Earning of points is subject to the terms and conditions of the Rewards Program the Primary Card Member is actively enrolled. Earning of Cashback is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the American Express Cashback Credit Card Rebate Program the Primary Card Member is actively enrolled. All points or Cashback earned on Additional Card Member spend will go to the Primary Card Members Account. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address and cannot add an Additional card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account.
The following Cards may incur annual Card fees. Please refer to your financial table to see if your Card will incur an annual fee.
- The American Express Gold Card: $65 per Additional Card per year may apply.
- The American Express Green Card: $45 per Additional Card per year may apply.
- The American Express Rewards Advantage: $65 per Additional Card per year may apply.
- The American Express Gold Credit Card: $20 per Additional Card per year may apply.
- The American Express Blue Credit Card: $20 per Additional Card per year may apply.
2. Amex Offers: The following are not Eligible Cards: Business Cards that are affiliated with a wholesale partner, American Express Business Travel Accounts, Government Cards, Corporate Purchasing Cards, Corporate Meeting Cards, Corporate Cards and the David Jones Storecard. To view Amex Offers, simply log into your Online Account or the American Express Mobile App. The account must be in good standing to be eligible for offers. Amex Offers are not available for Card Members under 16 years of age.
3. Fraud Protection Guarantee. Provided that you do not contribute to or unreasonably delay reporting any misuse of your Account and you have complied with your Card Conditions, you will not be held liable for any unauthorised charges.

1. Additional Card Members. Additional Card Members must be 16 years of age or over. The Primary Card Member will be liable to pay for all transactions made by Additional Card Members. Earning of points is subject to the terms and conditions of the Rewards Program the Primary Card Member is actively enrolled. All points earned on Additional Card Member spend will go to the Primary Card Members Account. The Primary Card Member cannot add an Additional Card under their own name or email address and cannot add an Additional card under the name or email address of a previously approved Additional Card application on the Account.

No. You’ll remain in full control of your Account. While your Additional Card Member will share your Credit Limit, they will only be able to view their transactions. They will not be able to see any spend or points earned on your Account.
Yes. Your Additional Card Members can save Amex Offers to their Card by logging into their Online Account. Any credit received from redeeming Amex Offers will be directly credited to the Primary Card Member’s Account. Additional Card Members may see different Amex Offers to the Primary Card Member, as Additional Card Members are excluded from various Amex Offers from time to time.
Your Additional Card Member will need to activate their Card and set up their own Online Account.
We’ll work with you to verify your Additional Card Member, however they will not undergo a formal credit check.
