All American Express Credit Cards have a maximum Credit limit. Your highest limit will depend on your financial circumstances and the Credit Card you choose. When you apply for the Amex Platinum Edge Card, you’ll have the opportunity to indicate your preferred Credit Card limit and approval for your credit line will be subject to our approval criteria. You should ensure that you nominate a limit that’s in line with your current financial circumstances.
It’s also important to know that choosing a low limit during the application process will not change your chances of approval. If you don’t choose a limit, we’ll assign you one, based on your current financial circumstances.

You can use the $200 Travel Credit you receive every year with the Amex Platinum Edge Card to pay for eligible flights, hotels and car rentals when booked via Amex Travel Online. The Travel Credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and you can use it for yourself as the Primary Card Member or book for a friend or family member.
