Terms & Conditions

  • The Promotion is available when you book a participating hotel with Agoda at www.agoda.com/amexau and pay with an eligible American Express Card. Eligible American Express Cards are those issued by American Express Australia or by a licensed bank partner. Bookings made on Agoda App are not eligible for the Promotion.
  • Details of promotion as follows:   
  • Book Period: 11th December 2017 to 29 April 2018
  • Stay Period: 11th December to 31st December 2018
  • Destinations: Global - Participating hotels with the ‘Promotion Eligible’ banner.
  • Discount: 10% on website desktop bookings. Not applicable for Agoda app.
  • This Promotion is only valid for participating hotels as indicated with the "Promotion Eligible" banner on the search results page.
  • The Promotion discount is applicable to hotel room charges only (excluding local taxes, service fees and any additional charges) and must be prepaid on Agoda.
  • The Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or other products.
  • The Promotion is non-transferable and non-cumulative and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotions, discounted items and fixed price items (unless specified).
  • Bookings are subject to Agoda terms and conditions.
  • Agoda is responsible for fulfilment of this Promotion. In case of any dispute, the decision of Agoda shall be final.

*Some important notes on all PointsMAX bookings:

  • The membership ID of the intended beneficiary of the third party points must belong to the guest staying at the hotel (identified by the lead guest name);
  • The rates for PointsMAX bookings may be different from regular bookings at the same conditions;
  • PointsMAX booking rates cannot be broken down into a room rate and points component;
  • Any applicable cancellation policy will apply in full to the PointsMAX bookings;
  • Only reward points or miles can be collected, no status points or credits;
  • PointsMAX bookings cannot be adjusted online using the Agoda self-service tool or by contacting Customer Service . To amend your reservations, you will need to cancel (subject to the cancellation conditions of the reservations and re-book your reservation. Cancelled reservations and No show will not earn points, regardless of the financial cancellations conditions;
  • Points cannot be exchanged in cash and are not cumulative with other offers; 
  • The Agoda price guarantee does not apply to PointsMAX bookings; and
  • The terms and conditions of the third party loyalty programs will apply to such program.
