4. This offer is only available to Cardmembers who received this offer directly from American Express. Offer is non-transferable and should not be forwarded. Cannot be combined with other Additional Card offers. If you receive points in error, we reserve the right to deduct them from your points balance. An Additional Card is a Supplementary Card. All references to you means the Basic Cardmember.  You must add a Supplementary Aeroplan^®* No Fee or Aeroplan^®* Card to your account between March 3, 2026 and April 30, 2026 to qualify for one (1) of the offers listed below.
   When the new Supplementary Aeroplan^®* No Fee Cardmember has at least $1,000 in net purchases posted to their Supplementary Aeroplan^®* No Fee Card within the first 3 months after Card approval, you can earn 2,500 bonus Aeroplan^®* points; or
   When the new Supplementary Aeroplan^®* Cardmember has at least $1,500 in net purchases posted to their Supplementary Aeroplan^®* Card within the first 3 months after Card approval, you can earn 5,000 bonus points; or

   You can receive only one offer per new Supplementary Card, up to a maximum of two offers for the first two new Supplementary Cards added during the offer period. If you qualify, bonus points will be awarded only on the first 2 new Supplementary Cards added to your account during the offer period. You can be eligible to earn up to a total maximum of 20,000 bonus Aeroplan^®* points for two Supplementary Aeroplan^®* Cards during the offer period. American Express reserves the right to approve additional Supplementary Card applications, but you will not be eligible for this offer once you have reached the maximum of two Supplementary Cards. If we determine you have engaged in any abuse related to the offer and/or program, we reserve the right to forgo issuing the bonus points, deduct it from your account, and/or cancel your basic account and you will not be eligible for a fee refund. Abuse can include but is not limited to, applying for multiple cards to earn points, applying for a Card under your own name, a false name or date of birth, cancelling your existing Supplementary Card(s) to take advantage of this offer, or booking travel or any other purchases to meet the spend requirement and cancelling/refunding later. 5. You can earn Aeroplan points (“points”) for eligible consumer purchases at American Express retail merchants as follows: Earn 2 points for every $1 of eligible purchases made directly with Air Canada. Earn 1.5 points for every $1 of eligible purchases at restaurant, quick service restaurant, coffee shop and drinking establishments in Canada, and delivery of food in Canada as a primary business, but not including groceries. Eligible Air Canada purchases means only those purchases made directly with Air Canada as the merchant, including Air Canada Vacations packages purchased directly from Air Canada. Air Canada purchases using your card at another merchant or service provider that sells Air Canada goods or services would not be an eligible Air Canada purchase, such as purchasing (i) Air Canada tickets from an online website other than Air Canada, through a travel agent including American Express Travel Services, or as part of a vacation package from another merchant, (ii) Air Canada gift cards, (iii) Air Canada Maple Leaf Club memberships or (iv) if you make a purchase through Air Canada with another merchant such as a hotel or car rental booking on the aircanada.com website. Earn rate of 1 point for every $1 applies when the merchant code is not in an eligible category, using a payment account or service of a third party, a card reader attached to a mobile phone or online retailer that sells goods of other merchants or the merchant category is otherwise not identified. Provided your account is in good standing, points can be earned on eligible purchases less returns and other credits. Interest charges, annual fees, other fees and cash equivalent transactions are not purchases and do not qualify for Aeroplan points. All Aeroplan points earned accumulate to the Basic Cardmember’s account.
6. Basic Cardmember or eligible Supplementary Cardmember, and up to eight (8) other passengers traveling on the same reservation (up to a maximum of 9 travellers), are each entitled to a free first checked bag up to 23kg/50lbs. Benefit only applies when checking in with Air Canada, for a flight operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge^®* or under the Air Canada Express^®* brand. Free first checked bag benefit is applicable only when the bag is checked in at the designated check-in counter, prior to security. Bags checked in at the gate are not eligible for this benefit. Benefit is not available if check-in is with another airline. If the first checked bag is already complimentary (for example, as a result of Aeroplan Elite Status or fare purchased), there is no additional checked bag benefit that will be provided. Free first checked bag benefit may not be applied retroactively, and no refunds will be issued. Lap held infants do not qualify for First Free Checked Bag. Service charges for additional/oversized/overweight baggage may apply. 7. Purchase must be charged in full to an American Express Card. Subject to availability and to event and ticketing terms, restrictions, verification procedures and fees. Tickets and packages may not be transferable and should not be resold. No refunds and no exchanges subject to merchant's obligations under applicable law.
8. Available to American Express Consumer and Small Business Cards. Not applicable for all new purchases. The following purchases do not qualify and will still be processed even if the Cardmember has frozen the Card: automated or pre-authorized payments, recurring bills or subscriptions, transactions on any Supplementary Cards if only the Basic Card is frozen (each Supplementary Card must be frozen separately), mobile wallet transactions (including adding a Card to a mobile wallet), using the Card for online payments at merchants where the Card is stored on file or set up as the method of payment, and offline and delayed authorizations (such as purchases made aboard airlines). After freezing the Card, it will automatically unfreeze after 7 days.
