How do Cards with Frequent Flyer points work?
Frequent Flyer points or Air Miles are loyalty points you can earn when you spend money with an airline or one of their partners. You can redeem these points for travel benefits, such as flights, hotel bookings, upgrades and other travel experiences.
Each Frequent Flyer program is different, so do your research before enrolling or signing up for an airline miles Credit or Charge Card, to find the program that works best for you.
Amex benefits for Frequent Flyers
American Express offers Frequent Flyer Credit Cards for personal use and Charge Cards for business use that enable you to earn points when spending on your Card.
Depending on which Card you choose, you can earn Qantas Points or Velocity Points on eligible purchases made with your Card. Your Card is linked to the corresponding airline program and points earned transfer automatically to your Frequent Flyer account.
