The registered Card account must be in good standing. Must first register your Card to the offer and use the same Card to make qualifying purchase(s) each month from 03/10/2023 to 31/12/2024. Date format is DD/MM/YYYY.  Your ability to redeem will reset on the first day of each month, and end on the last day of the same month until 31/12/2024.  A purchase made during the offer period prior to registration of your eligible Card for this offer is not a qualifying purchase. Your registration of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to qualifying purchases on that Card during the offer period.  

To be eligible for a $10 (CAD) statement credit, a qualifying purchase of at least $10 (CAD) in a single transaction, after taxes and applicable fees, must be charged to your registered Card on the Instacart mobile application in Canada or online at www.instacart.ca by the last day of each month during the offer period and subsequently posted to your account. Purchases made during a monthly period but charged to the registered Card after the end of that monthly period may not count towards eligible spend for that month (for example, if a purchase is made during the monthly period but charged by the merchant on the shipping or delivery date and that date occurs after the monthly period ends, or if there is a time difference). If this occurs, that purchase will count towards eligible spend for the next monthly period. Purchases charged to the registered Card by the merchant after the offer period ends will not qualify for the offer (for example, if a purchase is made in the last month the offer is available but charged by the merchant on the delivery date or after a free trial, and that date occurs after the offer ends).  

Offer valid only for purchases made online through the Canadian version of the merchant’s website (www.instacart.ca) or through the Instacart mobile application in Canada. Purchases must be made in Canadian dollars and shipped within Canada to be eligible. Each qualifying purchase must be made with a single retailer. Excludes purchases of gift cards, prescriptions, alcohol purchases, and orders placed or shipped internationally. Not valid on Instacart Fresh Funds, Instacart Ads, Instacart Health, and any other Instacart program (existing or new) as determined by Instacart in its sole discretion.  See Instacart website for delivery availability in your area. Offer is non-transferable. You can earn a maximum of $10 (CAD) in statement credit/s per registered Card per month, up to a total of $150 (CAD) in statement credit/s per registered Card during the offer period. 

Statement credit will be applied to your registered Card account within 90 days after 31/12/2024, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase(s). American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from the merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by the merchant. Statement credit will be reversed if qualifying purchase(s) is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the offer, the following transactions are not qualifying purchases for this offer: purchasing a merchant’s goods through a third party, such as through concession stores in department stores, payment account or service of a third party, a card reader attached to a mobile phone, online aggregators that sell goods of other merchants or if the merchant category is otherwise not identified. A statement credit does not constitute a payment and does not satisfy the requirement to pay the minimum due on a credit card. The Basic/Primary Cardmember must continue to make separate payments of at least the minimum due in accordance with the Cardmember agreement and account statement applicable to their registered Card account.  In the event that you replace your registered Card through Amex Bank of Canada or other participating American Express card issuer (as applicable) during the offer period, your participation in this offer will end and you will need to re-register for this offer.  

American Express or Instacart reserves the right to vary any eligibility criteria or the Terms prior to you registering for the offer. If you have not yet registered your Card for the offer and you have multiple American Express cards, your eligibility may change so that the offer only applies to the card that has the higher spend.

Eligible American Express Cardmembers have the option to purchase one of three 12-month Somm™ subscription memberships at discounted prices as follows: 
 
(a) Somm Cru Membership: Receive the Somm Cru subscription membership at a discounted price of $0.00 CAD per year, for a period of 12 consecutive months from the date of subscription purchase. 
(b) Somm Grand Cru or Grand Cru Zero Membership: Receive the Somm Grand Cru or Grand Cru Zero subscription membership at a discounted price of $99.00 CAD per month or $99.00 CAD every 3 months (as applicable), plus applicable taxes, for a period of 12 consecutive months from the date of subscription purchase.

Somm Membership Fees 
The current Somm Cru subscription membership fee is $85 CAD per year, plus applicable taxes. The current Somm Grand Cru subscription membership fee is $130.00 CAD per month or $130.00 CAD every 3 months (as applicable), plus applicable taxes. The current Somm Grand Cru Zero subscription membership fee is $130.00 CAD per month or $130.00 CAD every 3 months (as applicable), plus applicable taxes. Somm™ may change its subscription fees at any time. At the renewal of your discounted 12-month subscription, your American Express Card will be charged the then current regular  subscription fee and at all subsequent renewals. 

 
Auto-Renewal  
At the end of your 12-month discounted term, your membership will automatically renew at the then current regular membership fee. Before each renewal and at least 14 days before the end of your current 12-month discounted membership, you will receive an email notification from Somm™. If you do not want to renew, you must cancel your Somm™ subscription membership no later than 24 hours before the end of your subscription period. This excludes residents of Quebec. If you are a resident of Quebec, at the end of your 12-month discounted term, your membership will be terminated and cancelled. At least 14 days before the end of your current discounted membership, you will receive an email notification from Somm™ notifying you of the membership cancellation. If you want to renew, you will be required to re-enroll in the Somm™ subscription membership at the regular membership fee. 
  

Cancellation 
You may cancel the membership subscription for the Somm Cru, Grand Cru, or Grand Cru Zero at any time prior to the end of your 12-month discounted membership term. To cancel, you can navigate to Somm™ in-app membership settings and follow the instructions to cancel. More information can be found at https://www.somm.io/faqs.
If your Card Account is cancelled or your Card is replaced during the 12-month discounted membership term, your participation will end and you must re-enroll with your new Card within the Somm™ mobile application. 

Privacy 
We will process your personal information and as always, strictly in accordance with the American Express Online Privacy Statement. Somm™ will process your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Somm™ is provided by BeTheSomm Inc. (its subsidiaries, affiliated and service providers). Your subscription and use of Somm™ services is governed solely by the Somm Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. American Express does not provide any part of the Somm services and is not responsible for them in any way.
