**WEEKLY DEALS: On November 10, November 17 and December 1, we will feature eight (8) different rewards and on November 24, 2025, we will feature twelve (12) different rewards from the Membership Rewards catalogue at a reduced Point Drop redemption level for a period of seven (7) days, from 12:00:01am ET on the Monday until 11:59:59pm ET on the Sunday of the dates indicated above. 1. MERCHANDISE AVAILABILITY
All merchandise rewards are subject to availability. If an order is not available, a similar item of equal value or greater will be substituted whenever possible. If a substitution is not available, your Membership Rewards points will be credited back to your program account and you will be contacted. Merchandise rewards are subject to change without notice. New merchandise rewards will be added to the program on a regular basis. Some rewards are available in limited quantities. Limited items will be noted in the product description.

MERCHANDISE DELIVERY
Please allow 2–4 weeks for delivery. Cardmembers are required to provide a signature when rewards are delivered. Some items may have longer delivery times—this will be indicated. Orders are shipped via courier and require complete mailing address and telephone number for daytime delivery. (Orders cannot be shipped to a post office box).

2. You can redeem Membership Rewards points for a statement credit towards an Eligible Purchase charged to an Eligible Card. All Eligible Purchases: 1,000 points = $10 statement credit. You must redeem a minimum of 1,000 points per redemption. Eligible Purchases include purchases made at American Express merchants and charged to an Eligible Card. Funds advances, fees, balance transfers, Amex cheques and charges for travellers cheques are not Eligible Purchases. American Express may make changes to the types of purchases that are eligible for redemption with Use Points for Purchases at any time without notice. Eligible Cards are Consumer and Small Business Cards enrolled in the Membership Rewards program. Statement credits on your Card Account should not exceed the aggregate amount of the Eligible Purchase(s) on your Eligible Card. You can register for Online Services to view your Eligible Purchases and to redeem online. Only Eligible Purchases posted to your Card Account during the last 3 months, up to 150 most recent Eligible Purchases, will be displayed for redemption. By participating in Amazon.ca’s Shop with Points program using American Express Membership Rewards (“MR Points”), you agree to these Service Terms as well as Amazon.ca’s Terms of Use (including “Frequently Asked Questions”). Please review them carefully, together with Amazon.ca’s Privacy Notice, to understand Amazon.ca’s practices. To use your MR Points to purchase eligible items at Amazon.ca, your eligible Membership Rewards program account (“MR Points Account”) must be linked to your Amazon.ca wallet through the enrolment process. We reserve the right to restrict your use of Shop with Points or to un-enrol your MR Points Account by de-linking it from your Amazon.ca wallet at any time in our sole discretion, including when we suspect misuse or fraud. You agree that Amazon.ca, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively, “Amazon”) may share information that you have provided to Amazon with Amex Bank of Canada and its affiliates (collectively, “Amex”). Amex may share information with Amazon regarding your MR Points Account for the sole purpose of managing and facilitating the Shop with Points program using MR Points. This information sharing allows us to link your Amazon.ca wallet to your MR Points Account and, once enrolled, Amex may provide Amazon with information about your MR Points Account, including your total MR Points balance. We may also share information that you have provided to Amazon with Amex so that Amex can perform its functions with respect to the Shop with Points program, including processing payments made with MR Points. Neither Amazon nor Amex will use information provided to it by the other party in support of the Shop with Points program for any purpose other than as expressly set forth in this paragraph.

How to link your MR Points Account and enrol: 1. Add your eligible Amex charge or credit Card (“Card Account”) to your Amazon.ca wallet. 2. Link your MR Points Account to your Amazon.ca wallet by either: (a) making a purchase with your Card Account on Amazon.ca (in which case, please allow up to 72 hours for accounts your MR Points Account and Amazon.ca wallet to be linked); or (b) visiting the MR Points information page on Amazon.ca here and following the instructions to link your MR Points Account to your Amazon.ca wallet (in which case, your accounts MR Points Account and Amazon.ca wallet will be linked instantly). 3. When you link your MR Points Account to your Amazon.ca wallet, information about your MR Points Account will be shared with Amazon and you will be able to see your MR Points balance and use MR Points on Amazon.ca. 4. At checkout, you can choose to pay for eligible items with your MR Points, Card Account, or a combination of both.

MR points usage is limited to eligible items (products shipped and sold by Amazon). MR Points may not be used when making purchases with 1-Click. If you do not have enough MR Points to pay for your eligible purchase, you can pay for the remainder with the Card Account linked to your MR Points Account, or an Amazon.ca gift card. Your MR Points balance will typically be reduced to reflect the amount of your purchase at the time of your order, but in some cases it may not reflect your use of MR Points for pending purchase transactions until the purchase has shipped or otherwise been fulfilled. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have enough MR Points in your MR Points Account at the time your MR Points are ultimately redeemed. If you don’t have enough MR Points remaining in your MR Points Account at the time they are to be redeemed, you will be required to authorize another payment method. Your Card Account will not be charged automatically. MR Points may not currently be combined with other rewards programs to make eligible purchases using Shop with Points at Amazon.ca. When you use MR Points on Amazon.ca, the amount of your purchase being paid with MR Points will be charged to your Card Account in one or multiple transactions. The redeemed MR Points will be debited directly from your MR Points Account at the end of the order transaction. An amount in CAD equal to the value of the redeemed MR Points will be credited to your Card Account in the form of a statement credit usually within 2–3 days. When you pay only part of your purchase with credits from redeemed MR Points, the balance of your purchase (less any amount paid using an Amazon gift card) will be charged to your Card Account once the order is shipped. You must always contact Amazon to cancel a purchase you made on Amazon.ca or to make any other changes to that order, even if MR Points were used to complete that purchase. All returns, changes and refunds are subject to Amazon’s return policy. When Amazon accepts a return of any item for which you used MR Points, these MR Points won’t be credited to your MR Points Account. Amazon refunds in its sole discretion to the Card Account associated with the MR Points Account or to any other payment method that was used to purchase the item. If you no longer have an active MR Points Account or, if applicable, Card Account, Amazon may process your return by providing you with an Amazon gift card. If you use a corporate Card Account to make a purchase (whether alone or in conjunction with MR Points), you agree that you are using the corporate Card Account in accordance with your company’s policy. In the event that a returned item results in a credit to your corporate Card Account instead of a return of MR Points, it is your sole responsibility to resolve this with your company and you agree to hold Amazon and Amex harmless in respect of any loss you may incur. By participating in the Pay with Points at checkout with PayPal program using American Express Membership Rewards points (“MR Points”), you agree to these terms established by Amex Bank of Canada (“Amex” or “American Express”) as well as PayPal’s Terms and Conditions. All references in these Terms and Conditions to “we”, “us” or similar are references to American Express.

Pay with Points at checkout with PayPal is only available at PayPal checkout with eligible online merchants, and these merchants may change at any time without notice. The option to pay with points will be displayed as part of the PayPal checkout process when available. Different options for redeeming points may have different values. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the alternatives available to you and to make the choice that best suits your needs.

To use your MR Points to purchase items through PayPal, your eligible Membership Rewards program account (“MR Points Account”) must be linked to your PayPal account. Your MR Points Account is automatically linked when you link an Eligible Card to your PayPal account. Any Eligible Card that is already linked to your PayPal account will have their MR Points Account automatically linked, unless you take steps to un enrol it after linking has occurred.

An "Eligible Card" is a valid, Membership Rewards enrolled (a) American Express Consumer Card, (b) Business Card from American Express, or (c) American Express Corporate Card (“Corporate Card”), which must be issued by Amex Bank of Canada. You will only be able to use MR Points if you are the primary account holder of the Eligible Card. In addition, the Eligible Card account must also be in good standing and not in default at the time of redemption. The MR Points Account must also have a balance of at least 1 MR Point at the time of redemption.

Amex may share information with PayPal regarding your MR Points Account for the sole purpose of managing and facilitating the Pay with Points program using MR Points. This information sharing allows us to determine your Card’s eligibility, and Amex may provide PayPal with information about your MR Points Account, including your total MR Points balance. We may also collect information that you have provided to PayPal so that we can perform our functions with respect to the Pay with Points program, including processing payments made with MR Points. Neither PayPal nor Amex will use information provided to it by the other party in support of the Pay with Points program for any purpose other than as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions.

To view your available MR Points balance and to see the redemption rate for MR Points using Pay with Points at checkout with PayPal, go to membershiprewards.ca. Your MR Points balance may also be shown to you during the PayPal checkout process.

When you choose to use MR Points toward an eligible purchase, you will have the option of choosing how many MR Points to use. You may select up to the total amount of MR Points required to cover the total purchase amount or up to the full value of your MR Points balance, whichever is less. Following your selection, Amex will debit these MR Points from the MR Points Account linked to the Eligible Card. Your Card account will be charged in full for the purchase, and a statement credit reflecting the value of the MR Points used will post to your Card account, typically within 2–4 days. If a statement credit is processed after your Card account’s billing period, it will appear on your next statement.

If there is a processing error when you try to use MR Points or if you do not have any MR Points remaining in your MR Points Account at the time they are to be redeemed, your Eligible Card will still be charged, and the corresponding statement credit will not be issued to the Eligible Card account for your transaction. If this occurs and you would still like to use MR Points for your transaction after the fact, please call the number on the back of your Eligible Card and Amex will endeavour to assist you.

You are responsible for payment of all amounts due on your Card account by the payment due date. Statement credits applied to your Card account do not constitute a payment towards the minimum payment due. You must always make a separate payment of at least the minimum payment due in accordance with the Cardmember Agreement and billing statement.

Your MR Points Account balance will be reduced to reflect the number of MR Points used toward your purchase. MR Points may not currently be combined with points from other rewards programs when making purchases.

If you return the goods or cancel the service you’ve purchased from the seller, then any refund you receive will be credited to your Card account. Your MR Points Account will not be reimbursed. If you no longer have an Eligible Card account, then Amex will issue you a cheque for the appropriate refund. Returns are subject to a specific merchant’s returns policy.

If you use a Corporate Card to make a purchase (whether alone or in conjunction with MR Points), you agree that you are using the Corporate Card in accordance with your company’s policies for use. In the event that a returned item results in a credit to your Corporate Card, it is your sole responsibility to resolve this with your company and you agree to hold American Express harmless in respect of any loss you may incur.

7. Membership Rewards points are accepted as payment for a wide range of travel options through American Express Travel Services. Membership Rewards points can be used to pay for new travel purchases, including taxes and surcharges. Membership Rewards points are not refundable. Membership Rewards points have no cash value. Travel selections are based on available space and are subject to terms and conditions of travel suppliers. For car rental companies and hotels that do not accept prepaid bookings, contact American Express Travel Services at 1-855-804-9600 for details about how you can use your Membership Rewards points. In order to redeem points for any travel booking, the Membership Rewards Program account must be active and the Card must be in good standing. When you redeem points for an eligible travel booking, the full cost of the flight, including taxes, fees and carrier surcharges will be charged to your Card. Within 10 business days from the date of booking, you will receive a statement credit for the amount you redeemed. If your statement monthly cycle cut date falls between the date the transaction is recorded on your statement and the date the statement credit is processed, you will be responsible for paying your monthly statement in full. The statement credit will be applied against your next statement. If the American Express Installment Program applies to you and you also redeem points for one or more transactions, the Installment Program will take precedence and the credit will apply to your account in the regular course. This could result in you having a credit balance on your account. If you want to reduce the credit balance, you can cancel any active installment plans you may have. See the Installment Program terms and conditions in your Cardmember Agreement for details, if applicable. Bookings are also subject to American Express Travel Terms and Conditions. 8. Account must be in good standing. American Express Cardmembers with an Eligible Card enrolled in the Membership Rewards Program are eligible to redeem with Pay balance with Points in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, an Eligible Card includes The American Express^® Card, The American Express Cobalt™ Card, The American Express^® Gold Rewards Card, The American Express^® Platinum Card, Centurion^® Card from American Express^®, The American Express^® Business Gold Rewards Card, The Business Platinum Card^® from American Express^® and The American Express^® Corporate Card for Small Business and The American Express Business Edge™ Card. You can access Pay balance with Points on the webpage by logging on to American Express Manage Your Account page and clicking on Pay balance with Points or in the Amex mobile app under the Redemption Hub within the Membership Tab. If you are redeeming on the Pay balance with Points webpage or in the Amex mobile app, you must redeem a minimum of 1,000 Points per redemption (1,000 points = $10 statement credit), Special redemption offers may be available from time to time. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Points will be deducted from your Points Account and a statement credit will be applied to your Card Account that corresponds to the amount of Points redeemed. Points will be deducted immediately and a statement credit can take up to 48 hours to be posted to your Card Account . Depending on when you redeem Points, the statement credit can take up to two billing cycles to appear on your billing statement. You are responsible for payment of the amount due on your Card Account by the payment due date. A statement credit applied to your Card Account as a result of a redemption with Pay balance with Points constitute a payment towards the balance of your Card Account. If you redeem Pay balance with Points for the purposes of meeting payment obligations on your account, please ensure you leave enough time for the statement credit/s to be processed. American Express may reject your redemption request if your Card Account has a credit balance at the time of your request or if the request results in a credit balance on your Card Account. Redemption of Pay balance with Points cannot be reversed. Statement credits applied to your Card Account resulting from redemptions cannot be exchanged for other rewards, and are not refundable or exchangeable for cash. American Express can suspend or terminate redemptions with Pay balance with Points at any time it deems necessary, and reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time.
