How do I access the Document Centre to send documents?
Step 1:
Access the Document Centre web addresses here . Use Chrome for optimal access. It can also be found at the bottom of the home page under Important Links.
Step 2:
Enter your User ID and Password, then click Log In.
Result: The Document Centre page appears with 2 tabs: Upload Documents and History.
Step 3:
To send documents, you must select from the Upload Documents tab:
- Account number from the Account Number drop-down box.
- Option from the Document Category drop-down box.
If you want to see documents you have uploaded in the last 90 days, you must select the History tab.
Step 4:
- Click the Upload Documents button.
- Select files to upload.
- Click Open.
Result: The Document Centre page shows the selected files.
Step 5:
Click Submit Documents.
Result: The following confirmation appears: Thank You! The following files have been submitted to American Express.
Notes:
- Once the documents are uploaded, they should appear between 15 minutes and 4 hours, depending on time of day/high traffic hours.
- You can delete/remove documents during the initial upload/attach stage, but once submitted, the documents cannot be deleted or removed.
