Williamsburg Inn
The lavish Queen’s Suite is named in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip who stayed at the inn in both 1957 and 2007.
The hotel is inspired by 19th century English Regency design, and is meant to feel like a Southern country estate. The 62 guest rooms have a traditional style and are done up in warm shades of gold and blue with patterned wallpaper and textiles. Bathrooms are crafted from marble.
Start your day with a filling breakfast in the Terrace Room or Goodwin Room, and end it with a sunset cocktail at the Social Terrace, where the menu features a mix of classic fare and contemporary cuisine. The Rockefeller Room is a fine dining venue, serving locally sourced ingredients.
A wide variety of exercise classes are offered here, ranging from Zumba to spin and Pilates. Take a few laps in the pool, or unwind at The Spa at Colonial Williamsburg where some treatments are inspired by historic ingredients and techniques. Facials, massages, and salon treatments are available.
Exploring the 301-acre living history experience that is Colonial Williamsburg is a must. The area is home to 500 recreations of buildings, homes, and shops as well as two art museums. Enjoy a round of golf at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club.
