Here’s everything you need to know:
FAQ: Are On Business rewards flexible to fit my changing needs?
When a business trip pops up or changes, On Business members can make changes to travel plans up to 24 hours before travel - ensuring total flexibility to meet your business needs.1
All flight redemptions are based on a fixed rate table, meaning that the number of Points needed for a destination never changes and doesn’t discriminate against peak or off-peak travel times. This allows you to plan for your travel spend better, with the comfort that there won't be any surprises.
You can also use your Points for any individual linked to your business. This highly flexible feature allows you to add employees, contractors, suppliers, and even clients to your Account for maximum convenience.
FAQ: When and how can I earn On Business Points?
With On Business, you’ll earn 1 Point every time you spend £1 on a qualifying flight through British Airways, American Airlines, or Iberia. As you move up the Tiers, (more on this below), your earning rate per £1 will increase.
An added bonus? If you have a British Airways American Express® Accelerating Business Card, you’ll get 1.5 points for every £1 spent on British Airways2 and a welcome bonus of 2,200 points.3
FAQ: How do the On Business Tiers help my business earn more points through spending?
The more your business grows, the more you’re likely to spend on business travel. Luckily, with On Business, the more you spend, the more you’ll be able to save. On Business members start at Tier On1, with the possibility to save more by rising through the three levels of Tiers.
Here’s how it works. Once you move from On1 to On2, you’ll earn the same 1 On Business point for every £1 spent, with an additional 25% bonus earnings on top of your baseline points. At On3, there’s a 50% bonus earnings on top of your base points, which can be used to offset your business travel budget.4
For example, in On1, you’ll earn one return reward flight from Heathrow to New York in Economy Class when you spend £9,000. Once you reach On2, you’ll only need to spend £7,200 for that same flight, and £6,000 when you’re in Tier On3. This means that great savings translate to every level.1
FAQ: Are there any other ways to earn and redeem my points?
For any eligible flight, you can earn On Business points to put towards reward flights, cabin upgrades, and discounts. However, the On Business rewards system offers additional ways to earn and save points.
If you have a British Airways American Express® Accelerating Business Card you’ll get an extra 3,000 points annually when you spend £20,000 or more by your Card anniversary.5 As an On Business Member you’ll also get 1,500 points when you refer a new company to On Business (up to 90,000 points) -- enough for a short-haul one-way ticket from select UK airports to Paris or Amsterdam.1
From time to time, you will also receive limited-time offers to boost your Points balance, get discounts, or reward flight offers.
FAQ: How can On Business make tracking travel expenses easier?
Make the best use of travel rewards by gaining a clear view of who earns them and when they are most useful. The online Management Information Tool for On Business allows you to edit employee details, assign roles within the programme, and create business units so you can track points and travel spend.
You can filter by department, cost centre, and appoint travel agents to book travel and administer most aspects of the programme on behalf of the company, among other things.
