From now until December 31, 2025, Basic Cardmembers can enjoy 5 points^ at Selected Online Merchants and a wide selection of Food and Beverages Merchants in Hong Kong (including bars, restaurants, cafes and eateries).
Enrollment is required before spending.
Remarks:
^ Including the 3 American Express Membership Rewards points earned under the local spend and the additional 2 American Express Membership Rewards points earned under either Selected Online Merchant Bonusing or Everyday Dining Bonusing. The additional 2 American Express Membership Rewards points for every HK$1 spending incurred from 5X Offer (including Selected Online Merchant Bonusing and Everyday Dining Bonusing) are capped at extra 90,000 Membership Rewards points in total per Eligible Card Account for each calendar quarter (i.e. January 1 – March 31, April 1 – June 30, July 1 – September 30 and October 1 – December 31). Enrollment to the 5X Offer is required. The selected merchants under "Everyday Dining Bonusing" and "Online Merchant Bonusing" are updated from time to time without prior notice.
# American Express Insurance e.Marketplace is a platform for Cardmembers to purchase insurance products. 5X Membership Rewards Points are applicable to payments for new and existing policies purchased on the platform using American Express Explorer Credit Card, and made on or after December 1, 2022.
