Online Statements allow Cardmembers to view, save and print monthly their Card account statements online from the American Express® website. Online Statements are presented in Adobe® PDF format.
You can choose to use Online Statements instead of paper statements for both Personal and Corporate Cards. Your paper statements will no longer be sent to you and you'll receive an email from American Express advising that your Card account statement is ready to view online.
Please ensure you update your email address on our website to receive this monthly email notification. By logging onto American Express secure site or the American Express App, you can view your statement anywhere, anytime while protecting the financial information and enjoying peace of mind.
All Cards issued by American Express (Personal and Corporate) are eligible for Online Statements, and you can choose to use Online Statements instead of getting paper statements.
Yes, you can choose to select the Online Statement functionality for either one or all of your Cards.
No, you will have to manually select the Online Statement option for each of your Cards separately.
Yes, you can update a separate email address for each of your linked accounts and the alerts will be sent accordingly to the email you have chosen for the respective Card account.
You can contact Customer Care to get the paperless statements activated and paper statement deactivated.
Yes, you can switch back to your paper statements by contacting Customer Care to get the paper statements re-activated.
The day after your statement period ends you will receive email notification that your statement is ready to view. You do have the option to view the unbilled charges at any given time.
Yes, it is mandatory to supply us with your email address in order to activate the Online Statements. This is required to notify you when your statement is ready to view. You'll receive an email from American Express advising that your Card account statement is ready to view online.
Yes. American Express Online Statements are identical to paper statements, and provide all the information required by law. You can take a printout of the Online Statements and use it in the same way as paper statements. This includes verifying transactions listed on the statement to ensure that they are correct.
Please advise us within 60 days of the statement date in case of any discrepancy, omission or error in the statement, especially if you feel that you have not authorized the transaction or the transaction may be fraudulent.
Yes. Just click the "View/Download" link, click the "Save" button when prompted and choose a folder on your hard drive
Yes. When your statement opens in Adobe Reader™, simply click the "Print" button on the toolbar, or click "Print" under the "File" menu.
