Fee Credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck®3
Stay focused on getting where you need to go. Your Basic Card Member will receive either a $120 statement credit every 4 years for one Global Entry application fee or a statement credit of up to $85 every 4 years for one TSA PreCheck® (through a TSA PreCheck official enrollment provider) and pay the application fee with your Additional Platinum Card. Only one credit will be given in a 4 year period for Global Entry or in a 4 year period for TSA PreCheck® for a 5-year plan only. If approved for Global Entry, at no additional charge, you will receive access to TSA PreCheck. Each Additional Card on eligible Card accounts is also eligible for one statement credit for an application fee for a five-year membership every 4 years for Global Entry or every 4 years for TSA PreCheck. To receive the statement credit, the application fee must be charged on the eligible Additional Card.

Purchase Protection15 is an embedded benefit of your Card Membership and requires no enrollment. It can help protect Covered Purchases made on your Eligible Card when they’re accidentally damaged, stolen, or lost, for up to 90 days from the Covered Purchase date. Coverage Limits Apply. Can extend the Original Manufacturer's Warranty for up to one extra year for Covered Purchases made on your Eligible Card.
Return Protection18
If you try to return an eligible item within 90 days from the date of purchase and the merchant won't take it back, American Express may refund the full purchase price excluding shipping and handling, up to $300 per item, up to a maximum of $1,000 per calendar year per Card account, if you purchased it entirely with your eligible American Express® Card. Purchases must be made in the U.S. or its territories.
