Kabbage Helps California Plumbing Service Offer Fair Rates to Local Community
From Corporate to Community, One Business Owner’s Mission to “Help More People”
Anthony Flowers spent more than 20 years in the plumbing industry before deciding to open his own business. He worked at a large plumbing corporation where he gained a lot of valuable experience but ended up sitting behind a desk all day. Anthony also realized that a large portion of the community couldn’t afford the company’s plumbing services. “A lot of people were getting left out,” says Anthony. “I decided to start my own business when I realized there were so many more people I could help on my own.”
A Line of Credit To Access When Needed
Anthony started Right Time Rooter & Plumbing Services in 2017. To get it up and running, Anthony knew he needed a business loan, but he was wary of traditional lending options. “I didn’t want a traditional loan that sits in the bank until you find a way to spend it, sometimes on things you don’t even need. I needed something I didn’t have to pay back unless I actually spent it.”
Cash Flow for a Healthy Business
A Kabbage line of credit allowed Anthony to help residential customers for a fair price, while also taking on larger commercial projects and managing payroll for six employees. The process was quick and easy — Anthony received Kabbage funds just a few days after applying online.
Whether it’s fixing a broken water heater or unclogging a sink, Anthony’s customers often need help immediately during crisis situations. “I try to empower our customers, educate them on what the problem is and provide a fair price,” says Anthony. “Kabbage funding has helped me serve customers during their emergencies, and it shows in our excellent reviews and referral business.”
The stable cash flow allows Anthony to focus on his goal of helping more people in his community with peace of mind, knowing that he can still pay his vendors and manage the longer 90-day payment plans of bigger commercial projects
