There are literally millions of blogs out there that cover the topic of business, and more are created by the minute. So if you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by your morning RSS feed (or these days, Twitter feed), Inc. magazine was nice enough to curate a list of the top 19 Blogs You Should Bookmark Right Now. Huge thanks to Max Chafkin for sifting through the millions to find these gems. Read these regularly, and hopefully some of the authors' business smarts will rub off and help you reshape your business.
OPEN Forum's featured expert bloggers Seth Godin and Guy Kawasaki made the list, as did Wordpress Co-Founder and blogger with the coolest url ever Matt Mullenweg. (A blogger without Wordpress is like a scribe without a quill.) And while he’s more of an anti-blogger who once tried to write abbreviated posts and has since abandoned that to self-publish more lengthy essays, Paul Graham’s mini-tomes are how-tos for entrepreneur, offering priceless insight on the ins and outs of getting started. It’s also great to followCraig Newmark, the founder of one of the largest websites in the world, his eponymously named list.
Contrary to business books, which also offer up useful advice, bloggers provide up-to-the-minute insight making them more timely. From the mundane to the profound, their blogs cover it all and can help make the harried, newbie entrepreneurs not feel as lonely, clueless and stressed out. Reading their blogs won’t answer all your questions, but it will probably make you feel just a tad smarter.
