A lot of small-business owners make New Year's resolutions, but almost 90 percent are broken within two months. This is typically a result of setting impossible goals or just "wishing them" to come true. However, the root of the original problem, like getting into debt or being out of shape, didn't happen overnight. Similarly, fixing these won't happen in a short time either.
Most of our resolutions fail because:
We make too many at one time.
We won't do the hard work to actually achieve them.
We don't get started right away, but instead procrastinate.
We adopt someone else's resolutions, not ours.
We aren't willing to fail when trying to achieve them.
We quit before the finish line.
How are your resolutions coming so far this year?
