Social Innovation Architect
General Motors
In 2002 I imagined that some day, people would be using social communication tools as an integral part of both business and personal relationships, as essential (or even more so) as hand-written letters, the telegraph, telephone, and email ever were. I thought that some day, social technology would no longer be seen as some external "social application", but core functionality to be included in other applications. Today, that vision is a reality, and in my new role as Social Innovation Architect at General Motors, I get to be on the cutting edge of new social technology. If you're working on something new and interesting in social, I'd love to hear about it. I'm always up for a demo or a trial. If you want to be working on new social technology at a thriving center of tech innovation, let me know. There are dozens of IT positions open at GM in multiple locations across the U.S. “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.” - Will Durant
