Internship opportunities

Undergraduate Summer Internship Program

 

During your 10-week internship, you will have a chance to work on meaningful projects that positively impact our teams’ success. This program is designed for students entering their final year of college.

 Program offered: June – August

MBA Summer Internship Program

During your 10-week internship, you will gain real-life experience that brings you closer to your dream job. You’ll have the chance to work on projects that significantly impact the business while exploring your interests and enhancing your strengths. It’s also a great opportunity to engage and build relationships with colleagues, leaders and industry professionals.

American Express Discovery Program

 

This two-day program for undergraduate students, provides an opportunity to learn more about American Express, build a network with colleagues, and experience our culture first-hand. Emerging Leaders Summit

This two-day leadership conference for 1st year MBA/Masters students, is designed to help participants build their personal brand, learn more about American Express opportunities, and network with senior executives. Selected students will be invited to meet the team through virtual interviews. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you as a candidate and potential colleague and for you to learn more about the program you applied to and the Company as a whole.

Undergraduate Summer Internship Program


Round 1
This consists of two consecutive 30-minute interviews.

Round 2
Final candidates will be invited for a half-day experience to engage with American Express colleagues and senior leaders, followed by two additional 30-minute interviews.

MBA Summer Internship Program


Round 1
This consists of two consecutive 45-minute interviews.

Round 2
Final candidates will be invited for a half-day experience to engage with American Express colleagues and senior leaders, followed by two additional 45-minute interviews.

Technology students


Round 1
This consists of one 60-minute interview.

Round 2
If you receive a summer internship offer, you’ll be invited to our More2Explore day, where you will learn more about the American Express culture, get an understanding of our offices, and hear from different engineering teams within our technology division.
