- Book a round-trip airline award travel ticket using FlexPoints at the FlexPerks Rewards Center
- Purchase in-flight food or drinks, seat upgrades, baggage fees or more during your award travel dates using your U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards American Express® Card
- Call Cardmember Service at 866-311-5550 within 90 days after travel to request your Airline Allowance of $25

2Cash back is redeemed in the form of a statement credit or a deposit made to your U.S. Bank Savings or Checking Account (5,000 FlexPoints minimum redemption).
3 If you have enough FlexPoints available, you may redeem for a statement credit that offsets the cost of the Annual Membership Fee charged for your Account. This redemption option is available on the online Rewards Center and via phone for 90 days before and after the Account opening anniversary date. FlexPoints redeemed for your Annual Membership Fee will reduce the Account balance but will not count toward your minimum payment due. FlexPoints will be immediately deducted from your balance following redemption. If you redeem FlexPoints for this redemption option more than 3 business days before your Annual Membership Fee is billed, a credit in the amount of the Annual Membership Fee will be applied on the next business day after the fee is billed on your statement. If you redeem after that, a credit in the amount of the Annual Membership Fee will be applied 7-10 business days after the date of redemption.
4Cardmembers redeeming FlexPoints for Award Travel (a ticket paid using FlexPoints) are eligible to receive the airline allowance credit up to $25 per each round-trip airline award travel ticket. You must redeem a minimum of 10,000 FlexPoints per round-trip airline award ticket in order to be eligible for the $25 airline allowance. Qualifying Purchases must be made using the U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards American Express® Card on the Award Travel dates. Qualifying Purchases must be through the airline carrier, which is inclusive of a checked baggage fee, onboard food or beverage purchases, and seat upgrades. U.S. Bank does not have the ability to control how a merchant chooses to classify their business and reserves the right to determine which purchases qualify for the allowance. You may redeem allowance for Qualified Purchases only if the outstanding balance of your Account is below its revolve limit and if your Account is open and in good standing under the terms of your Cardmember Agreement. Once you or we close your Account for any reason, your allowance may be forfeited.
Cardmember is required to contact Cardmember Service within 90 days after travel to request the Airline Allowance, which is credited to your Account and will appear on the statement within 4–6 weeks (or a notification regarding a decline will be sent).
