5 Reasons to Stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills

The Waldorf Astoria is one of the newest luxury hotels in Beverly Hills. We asked American Express Travel Ambassadors, Aundre Larrow and Karston Tannis, about their experience and why this Fine Hotels + Resorts® property made them feel like Hollywood royalty.

High-Touch Service

“The service felt really authentic. They did an excellent job at making us feel special without it ever being forced. The airport pick-up, personalized welcome notes and drinks were wonderful touches—we were well taken care of.

The staff genuinely wanted to make sure every moment of our stay was exceptional, and it showed. The text concierge was a nice, modern touch, as well."

Impressive Art Deco Lobby

“You know you’re in for something extraordinary when you walk into that lobby. The high ceilings and Art Deco design made it feel like we were back in the golden age of Hollywood.

It’s all very elegant and definitely a place where you'd want to relax and spend time at the start or end of your day."

Views from The Rooftop by JG

“If there is one thing that is an absolute must here, it’s to have drinks on the rooftop during sunset. It’s definitely a place to see and be seen, but it’s still relaxed enough where you can unwind and really take in the beauty of Beverly Hills.

If you’re an early riser, try to make it up to the roof for sunrise. While the pool and restaurant may not be open yet, seeing the sun come through the mist of Beverly Hills was incredibly serene (and made for some great golden hour photos)."

Stylish Rooms and Suites

“In addition to maybe the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept on, our rooms had great natural light throughout the day. It felt like there was never a bad time to be out on the balcony.

One of the biggest surprises was how high-tech the rooms were. We never knew how much fun it could be to control the lights, blinds and music, all from a tablet, while stretched out on a king-sized bed.”

Proximity to Rodeo Drive and Access to Los Angeles

"While we were just window-shopping this time around, the close walk to Rodeo Drive only took about 10 minutes, and there was plenty to do and see in the vicinity. It's famous for a reason and there's really nothing else like it.

The hotel is also at the intersection of two major streets in L.A., which means you can access most of the city in around 30 minutes. You can really see how much the city has to offer by going out to the Santa Monica pier and boardwalk, or into DTLA."
