Yachts & Catamarans

I grew up sailing in southern California. As a teenager, my family and I sailed the British Virgin Islands, and I knew I was going to spend my life sailing. As an adult, I have continued to sail extensively throughout the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Central America with my family. In fact, I raised my children on the water in Florida, and they are both avid sailors and fishermen. Living in Florida gives me the opportunity to attend the major yacht and boat shows so I can stay up to date on the newest yachts and charters. My travels around the world allow me conduct fleet inspections of our charter companies. I am fortunate that I have been able to incorporate my love of sailing into my career as a travel planner. It is not a coincidence that the travel destinations in which I specialize include the British Virgin Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Belize, Tahiti, and the Maldives. I have over 20 years’ experience selling yacht charters around the globe, and am well versed in both popular and remote cruising areas. I focus on matching my clients’ needs with the right yacht or catamaran, crew, and itinerary, and on using my knowledge and experience to anticipate potential hiccups before they happen in order to provide a seamlessly pleasant experience. Whether it is a catamaran in the British Virgin Islands, or a yacht in the Society Islands, or a gulet off the coast of Turkey, each day will be an exciting adventure. Nothing pleases me more than referrals from happy clients and those who continually return for yet another charter.

Insider Tip

The British Virgin Islands are the most popular place to charter a catamaran. These islands are known as the sailing capital of the world.

My family has been sailing in the British Virgin Islands since I was a child. No matter how many times I visit, this natural amusement park always amazes me. More than 20 years in the travel industry combined with a true appreciation for the island lifestyle helps me plan extraordinary island getaways for you. From exploring the nearly deserted beach of Loblolly to diving excursions where you just might find some of Blackbeard's sunken treasure, the possibilities for adventure are endless. Where else can you stay in a tree house suite above a picturesque tropical canopy or enjoy a day lounging on your own private island? Culinary enthusiasts will go wild for spiny lobster dinners served beachside, to-die-for conch fritters, and the infamous "painkiller" cocktail served at the bar that can only be reached by jumping out of a boat and wading to shore. Call today and let me show you why the BVIs should become your next obsession.

Insider Tip

Why not embark on a 7 night luxury crewed yacht charter? Island hopping is easily the best way to experience the unique character and indescribable beauty of the numerous picturesque islands known as "Natures Little Secret".

Dubai
Dubai

When I started my career in travel, I had the rare chance to visit Dubai before it became a major tourist destination. I am very fortune to be able to explore this ever-changing city often. I have an insider's perspective on Dubai's history and culture. I've soared to the top of the Burj Khalifa, spent the day at the Atlantis water park, and enjoyed high tea at the Burj Al Arab. I've sandboarded in the desert during a desert safari and savored a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars. I've taken my children to ride the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World. Having toured numerous hotels, I know which room has a great view of the Burj Al Arab or the Palm. Arranging two to three-day stopovers in Dubai en route to the Seychelles, Maldives or Africa will maximize your travel experience. Rely on my expertise for advice on shopping, transportation, etiquette, and more. I can point you to a Louvre Abu Dhabi, a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, or a luxurious palace where you can sip a 24-karat gold palace cappuccino.

Let me help you discover the world’s tallest lounge inside the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa's: The Lounge. Enjoy Jaw dropping views of the Dubai Sky line, Dubai Fountains, and the Arabian Gulf.

U.S. Virgin Islands
U.S. Virgin Islands

My family has been sailing from St. Thomas since I was a child. This island never ceases to amaze me. St. Thomas is so much more than one island, rather it is a series of little islands, pristine coves, and secluded beaches. What better way to learn the history and culture and experience this rich and exciting island than with an insider who knows this island gem, both on land and the sea. If you are looking for a luxury yacht experience, a quaint cliff-side villa, or a private island experience, I can help you. If your fantasy is to live like a local on this island of pristine white sand beaches surrounded by crystal-clear water, then this small slice of paradise should certainly tempt you to throw away your return ticket!

Catch the trade winds from the deck of your very own yacht as you sail to secret, protected bays in search of sea turtles and dolphins.

United Arab Emirates
United Arab Emirates

My first visit to the United Arab Emirates became a dream for me. I landed in the most popular Emirate - Dubai - in 1985 as a young flight attendant. There were no hotels except for the one where we were staying. This was a brand-new country existing of 7 Emirates (or States). Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the most popular, followed by Sharjah, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. On my first trip, I never left my hotel, so I had no idea we were in a gorgeous country on the Arabian Sea. Thankfully, since then, my travels have taken me back too many times to count. If you think a mixture of sweeping sand deserts, glamour, culture, architecture, and art is exciting, then the United Arab Emirates is for you. One of the reasons my clients come to me, is having personalized relationships with some of the most important people in the UAE, which will allow me to give you insider access other agents will never be able to provide. In Abu Dhabi, visit the Grand Mosque, the Louvre, and ride the world's fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World. Don’t want to wait in line at Ferrari World? I can take care of that for you. Learn the culture of United Arab Emirates at Qsar al Watan Abu Dubai, with its stunning and ever-changing architecture and skyline. Home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and home to the world’s only 7-star hotel. You can have the rare opportunity to visit the Emirate of Sharjah along the southern shore of the Arabian Peninsula with its pristine seawaters, being surrounded by the soaring mountains. If you are an adventurous foodie, try the Camel Milk Cappuccino. Enjoy the traditional Souks and heritage zone. Interested in staying at a desert luxury resort with your villa inspired by inspired by traditional Bedouin tents? Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda

I first visited Antigua and Barbuda over 20 years ago. I was mesmerized as I looked out from my beachfront suite and saw the volcano at Montserrat glowing gently in the night sky with stars so plentiful, one shot through the sky every few minutes. From that moment on, I knew I would keep coming back to these islands. In fact, I have been back so often and brought so many clients there that I won the prestigious Black Pineapple Award given by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Department. If you’ve never tasted a black pineapple, then you’re in for a treat when you go to Antigua. The official fruit of Antigua, it is said to be the sweetest pineapple in the world and only grows in Antigua. They say it is the rich volcanic Antiguan soil and limited rainfall that concentrates the sugar content and yields an edible core. Black pineapples aren’t the only sweet thing you will experience in Antigua. Imagine a resort on a private island with huge orange starfish glistening in the water just steps away from your villa on the most beautiful beach you’ve ever seen. Or watching stunning sunsets on the cliffs at Shirley Heights overlooking the historical English Harbor. That’s where you can visit Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site named after the legendary British Admiral Horatio Nelson who made it his headquarters in the 1780s. Or take a catamaran to the coral barrier reefs that fringe much of the island, and snorkel in one of the richest marine ecosystems in the Lesser Antilles. I have brought my children to these islands from a young age where we have shared lifetime experiences exploring the islands' many historical buildings and fortifications, snorkeling in its pristine waters and just relaxing on its spectacular beaches. Antigua has experiences for everyone: couples, families, groups, singles, and multi-generational gatherings. Let me help you create your own lifetime experiences in these islands I love so much.

Insider Tip

Antigua has 365 beaches, 1 for every day of the year.

Tahiti
Tahiti

Overwater bungalows are my specialty! Growing up on the beach and having lived on an island for over 20 years, I have a passion for the islands of Tahiti. As a Certified Tahiti Tourism Specialist by Tahiti Tourisme, I travel there several times a year -- sometimes for a month at a time! I can provide expert advice on planning your trip to the Islands of Tahiti due to my relationships with hoteliers and vendors. One of my favorite memories is listening to my guide Taika strum his ukulele as we make our way on his Polynesian Outrigger canoe to a private motu for a traditional South Pacific BBQ. The Islands of Tahiti consist of 5 archipelagos comprised of 118 islands scattered across over 1.5 million square miles of the Pacific Ocean, and each of the archipelagos has its own charm and character. That is a lot of territory to cover and over-the-water bungalows to enjoy. Over the years, I’ve traveled extensively throughout the islands’ turquoise waters and am ready to share with you my expertise when planning your own personalized South Seas adventure. Do you yearn to snorkel or dive in the immense lagoons and coral-based motu of the low flat atolls found mostly in the Tuamotu Islands - the oldest of the Tahitian Islands? Or perhaps you prefer the mix of water and land activities, such as horseback riding and trekking that are available on the mountainous islands encircled by lagoons of the Society and Austral Islands, including Bora Bora, Tahiti, and Moorea. Or maybe you are drawn to the stunning peaks, cliffs, valleys, and waterfalls of the Marquesas Islands, which are too young to have formed barrier reefs which create lagoons. If you are looking for the ultimate in privacy and luxury, I am one of the few who know just where to send you. Whether you are looking at staying on just one island or would like to experience two or more islands, or whether you want to snorkel with sharks, stingrays, and whales, or relax in a spa or laze on a beach, I will help you put together an incredible Tahitian experience. With over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, I specialize in honeymoons, weddings, family travel, romantic getaways, and anniversary trips, as well as snorkeling, diving, and other adventure trips. Needless to say, the Tahitian Islands are the perfect romantic destination, and for those of you planning a wedding, remember that foreigners can legally get married in French Polynesia.

Insider Tip
