My very first trip to Greece, I felt as if I was home. Prior to entering the travel industry, I spent many years traveling in Greece both personally and for business. I traveled throughout the mainland and to many of the islands, affording me the opportunity to see all aspects of the country. I visited small villages and danced at their festivals. I stayed in Greek homes, sometimes for weeks at a time, and got to know and understand the people, culture and pulse of the country. This is a country that oozes history and culture out of every ancient crack and crevice. There were times I stayed in the cities at 5-star hotels, or on occasion in small local hotels. I walked the best shopping areas and explored the newer and trendier neighborhoods. I've dined at great restaurants, my favorites being the local tavernas. I've basked in the sun on beautiful beaches in Mykonos and Santorini. But I know Greece is so much more than those popular islands. With my experience, understanding, constant research and updates, I am able to offer the most appropriate options for each of my clients to suit their individual desires. The best way to plan a visit to a country is through the eyes of one who loves it. I do love and understand Greece.
If visiting Karpathos, stay in Olympos village rather than Chora/Pigadia. Hire a car to see the main attraction of all–the beautiful beaches.
