As a California native, I’ve driven the Pacific Coast Highway, sampled my way through the wine country in Napa, , and experienced some of Hollywood’s famous sites. I’ve done long weekend getaways with the girls; family trips among the majestic redwoods; and quiet, romantic retreats all in my home state. California is known for its sun and beaches but offers so many more treasures. We have dramatic cliffs and famous golf courses along 17 Mile Drive in Monterey, stately Sierra mountains in Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, and stunning views in deserts like Death Valley and Joshua Tree. Entertainment is an integral part of California’s history, and adding a Broadway show, opera, or symphony to your vacation will complement any visit. The climate is excellent for the many wineries throughout the state, and we can arrange cooking tours or wine tasting to liven up your stay. Whether you prefer to drive a convertible or be chauffeured in style, I’ve love to help an amazing visit to dazzling California.
Southern California has a wonderful wine region in Temecula, about halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego.
Eastern Canada is a land of travel opportunities! Offering everything from adventure and natural beauty to cosmopolitan cuisine and sophisticated entertainment, there is something for everyone. Easily accessible from the US, you can choose to drive, sail, or fly, whatever you prefer! Sail around Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, or among the 1000 Islands in the St. Lawrence River. Drive or fly to Toronto and participate in its Caribbean Carnival, North America’s largest street summer festival, and if you haven't seen the majesty of Niagara Falls, now’s the time; it’s just a short drive from Toronto or Buffalo. Visiting Montreal puts you in mind of Paris with its bilingual population and quaint architecture. Getting around is easy; stroll through the underground city and enjoy a sidewalk café. With the highest number of restaurants per capita, it is a Foodie’s paradise. Eastern Canada is truly beautiful from land, river, or sea, and I’d love to share my deep appreciation for this country with you as we plan your extraordinary journey.
Northern Lights may be seen from as far south as Toronto!
Different villages and Old World cities every night of the week; wine and dinner under the stars, the sea breeze at your back: all of it without ever having to change rooms or lug heavy bags around. The Mediterranean cruise is a dream vacation for its simplicity, beauty and guaranteed relaxation. As a travel industry veteran who has been fortunate enough to cruise the Mediterranean many times over the years, I want to share my first-hand knowledge of the cruise lines, boutique boats, and on-shore activities with you. I have a lot of passion and enthusiasm for this type of trip–I've traveled the world over, but cruising remains my favorite kind of vacation to take when I need some of my own downtime. Drop me a line today, and let's get started.
I have been an American Express cruise insider for over 10 years, arranging countless memorable vacations for our valued clients. Alaska and British Columbian Cruises are close to home and a great multi-generational trip, offering something for everyone. There is so much to see! Whether enjoying international cuisine in Vancouver, Western Canada’s largest city, zip lining in Juneau, or hiking the Kenai Fjords, shore excursions provide a variety of fun and exciting, as well as casual, activities. I've viewed the retreating glaciers, seen bears and moose, and gone whale watching and dog sledding. Alaska cruises sail roundtrip from Vancouver, BC, and from various ports in the US. Or consider enhancing your experience and sail one way: adding a memorable land tour to your cruise. Denali Park, formerly known as Mt. McKinley, is a national park filled with wildlife and an easy extension from your Alaskan cruise. Most years, there are over 40 ships and 500 sailings in Alaska and British Columbia. Contact me, and I would love to help select the right cruise, and share the many wonders of Alaska and Western Canada with you.
Summer days are warm and long, so why not hike the Chilkoot Trail, which is one of two main routes to the Klondike?
