I have been honored to receive industry awards for my in-depth knowledge of river cruise lines and the destinations they serve. Each year, I travel on several major river cruise lines to research their latest enhancements and appreciate the nuances of each. As a specialist for each of them, I gain access to special promotions, offers and events to share with my clients. I am also hosted regularly by the tourism boards, experiencing new hotels, new things to do and see, and gaining lots of new knowledge to share with my clients. Having an intimate knowledge of the different river cruise lines allows me to match my client's expectations with the right itinerary and ship, while painting a realistic image of what they can expect. This is the key to ensuring your satisfaction.
Sit under the stars late at night watching your ship clear a lock while everyone else is asleep. It's magical!
As a previous event planner, I have had the pleasure of visiting many destinations in my lifetime. Italy is one of my favorite destinations to revisit as there is always something new to experience. Each area throughout Italy offers such unique and memorable opportunities for a dream-of-a-lifetime first visit or for multiple visits time after time. Whether it's a short pre- or post-cruise visit or land travels of any length, Italy features a truly breathtaking experience for all ages, families, couples and groups.
BUONGIORNO! Coffee? Italians drink certain coffees at certain times of day. Ask me to learn more!
62% of Austria is in the Alps, which is ideal for any season & exploration. It also features Europe’s largest waterfall, Krimmel, as well as the largest ice cave in the world in Werfen. It is a very bio-friendly country, with a focus on farm-to-table and great use of renewable energy. Of course, nothing is complete without time in Vienna. The beauty of the architecture, the Opera, the Stallions, the Naschmarkt, the Belvedere, Schonbrunn Palace...the list goes on and on. My favorite things to do are simply walk and enjoy the architecture that was preserved, as well as enjoy the numerous cafes filled with vibrant people and conversations. Danube Island (Donauinsel) is an ideal way to spend time relaxing and meeting locals. For shopping aficionados, just a short trip outside of Vienna is the Parndorf shopping area, home to some lovely retailers. Or the retailers near St. Stephen’s Cathedral -- it combines energy and history melded together. Austria is truly a country of love, blended with history that makes you reflect. So many cities, a wonderful choice to add into any Eastern Europe visits or river cruises along the Danube. Intrigued or interested? I’m here to share my love of Austria.
Make sure if you are toasting to keep eye contact with your friends or loved ones--it is considered bad luck if not!
The Czech Republic is filled with art, culture, history, breathtaking architecture, and a vibrant atmosphere. Explore South Moravia and experience a climb into a modern architectural observatory with amazing views overlooking vineyards. Go back in time in Cesky Krumlov, a Unesco city wandering the shores of the Vltava with picturesque views and a medieval flair. And of course, Prague has something for everyone: the Lennon Wall, the world's narrowest street, unique sculptures, and a vibrant nightlife (with Europe’s most affordable beer). You can even experience a beer spa (yes - you soak in beer, drink beer, and sauna in an oak barrel with straw beds!) and climb a tower with views to rival the Eiffel Tower. A lovely experience is using the paddle boats and picnics along the Vlatva River by the Charles Bridge. The close proximity of the Czech Republic permits a wonderful opportunity to visit other Eastern European gems while abroad or experiencing a river cruise. Whatever your dreams are, we can work to design a memorable trip. I look forward to hearing from you!
Did you know Prague is second to Paris in terms of tourism popularity?
As an event planner, traveling the world with corporate executives, I've seen a lot. Hungary offers a plethora of experiences and adventure. With over 1,500 spas throughout the country, home of the first vineyard in Europe, and so many special explorations, it is a must-visit destination. It combines nicely in Eastern Europe with other cities and river cruises. Of course, Budapest is ideal and holds lots of history along with the rest of the country. My most recent visit was one of my favorites! I am glad to share my knowledge and insight with you to ensure you have a memorable trip.
Make it a point to visit 360 at sunset in Budapest, filled with local flair and amazing views.
