Chile

No one visit to Chile will allow you to experience all that there is to see and do in this amazing country. Once you’ve visited the first time, you will want to return again and again to discover its vast natural treasures. My greatest memories are visiting Patagonia with its breathtaking mountains, glaciers, and sapphire-blue lake waters; and the amazing stargazing in the awe-inspiring white Atacama Salt Flats, one of the highest elevation deserts in the world — you will observe stars you can’t see anywhere else in the world. Here you will witness a stunning sunset over the Valley of the Moon. Ferry across the Chacao Channel to Chiloé, known for its fascinating folklore, its mythology, and its more than 60 unique wooden churches and chapels, 16 of which are Unesco World Heritage sites. Be sure to wander the colorful streets of Valparaíso, adorned with expressive graffiti artwork. And no visit is complete without sampling Chilean wine!

Insider Tip

Stargazing in Chile is an almost surreal experience—due to the elevation you feel like you can actually reach up and grab a star in your hand.

Other Specialties
Morocco
Morocco

I have walked the winding maze-like streets of the souk, known as the medina in Marrakesh, taking in the smells and colors of the local spices. I have marveled at Volubilis, one of the best preserved Roman archaeological sites, a must see when traveling to Morocco. Throughout my travels and my experience selling the destination, I have developed relationships with local operators and guides selected for their highest standard. Let me show you Morocco!

Insider Tip

Take a camel ride through the desert to your luxury tented camp to watch the sunrise come up over the dunes, a memory of a lifetime!

Turks & Caicos
Turks & Caicos

When I’m in need of R&R, Turks & Caicos is one of my favorite destinations. It’s truly a tropical paradise where you can leave your cares at home and enjoy incredible beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters. My first-hand knowledge of the islands allows me to help you plan a magical beach vacation, whether you are seeking a romantic honeymoon, a pampered luxury experience, or a thrilling diving trip exploring the spectacular seas and vibrant coral reefs. In order to take advantage of the islands’ great accommodations and array of culinary options, I have close contacts at most hotels and restaurants to elevate your island experience. Looking for more to do beyond the fabulous beaches? Navigate mangrove wetlands on a guided kayak eco-tour, explore underwater caves and blue holes, snorkel the amazing barrier reef protecting Grace Bay, or just lounge on glorious Grace Bay Beach. Swim with the dolphins—you might even have a close encounter with JoJo, Turk’s unofficial mascot. You can also snorkel with humpback whales; sail to a private, deserted island for the day; or learn to kite surf on the calm waters of the Caribbean. One of the most exhilarating feelings I’ve had during a visit to Turks is horseback riding in the ocean as sea turtles swam by. At day’s end, enjoy beach-side dining as you take in breathtaking sunsets.

Insider Tip

Be sure to go to my favorite spot at Coral Gardens Beach—here you can swim with the sea turtles followed by a drink at the Somewhere Café, enjoying live music as the sun sets on the horizon.

Galapagos Islands
Galapagos Islands

The overwhelming appeal of the Galapagos Islands is that they are truly the last bastion on earth untouched by human hands. There is nowhere else on the planet where you can observe this kind of ecosystem and witness evolution first-hand. Here you experience wildlife in its purest form--the animals are unafraid of humans. There are several ways to maximize your Galapagos adventure, from luxury eco hotels to expedition ships. You can visit the Galapagos the way you want to--I can help you determine the advantages of land versus sea tours. Where else can you see a blue-footed boobie in the morning and swim with a family of baby sea lions in the afternoon?

Insider Tip

Not to be missed is swimming with the baby sea lions who will frolic, nuzzle, nibble and play with you underwater—one of the most joyful and memorable experiences you will ever have.

East Africa
East Africa

No trip is more unique than an authentic African safari. Wild animals, dramatic scenery, and fascinating cultures are just a small taste of what you will experience on an African adventure. I will never forget the overwhelming feeling of awe as our jeep drove to our lodge surrounded by wildlife of every species. It was surreal, as if we were on a movie set! Every day is an incredible and unexpected excursion. With my many years of planning and organizing safaris for myself and clients, I can help you determine where and when to go for the ultimate safari experience. Whether you want a customized private safari or a group excursion, I will diligently take care of all the details from transportation to accommodations at the best camps. Travel to East Africa for an exceptional first-hand view of the world’s most massive land mammal migration over the plains of Tanzania and Kenya. Marvel at the beauty and power of gorillas on a trek through Rwanda and Uganda. Contribute to the protection and preservation of the Great Plains Conservation by staying at one of many camps dedicated to conservation. Pack your bags, charge your camera, and get up close and personal with magnificent wildlife for the journey of a lifetime!

Insider Tip

For an up-close-and-personal experience, take a bicycle excursion riding amidst zebras and giraffes roaming freely alongside you as you pedal through Africa’s beautiful landscapes.

Hawaii
Hawaii

Lush rainforests, glistening waterfalls, blue lagoons, and amazing volcanoes make Hawaii a great blend of adventure and romance, perfect for honeymooners and families. Each of the six main islands has its own personality and character. I can assist you with selecting the ideal island and resort to suit your desired preferences, as well as help you plan a variety of exciting excursions. Watch the sunset over Waimea Canyon and the sunrise from atop Haleakala Crater. Maui, one of Hawaii’s most popular islands, is heaven on earth! Snorkel off the shores of Big Beach, play golf on championship courses, and enjoy the thrill of humpback whale watching. Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, has unmatched natural beauty. Kayak down Wailua River, one of the only navigable rivers in Hawaii; explore the Coconut Coast; and hike up “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific,” Waimea Canyon. On Oahu, the most populous and developed island, you can indulge in Honolulu’s vibrant nightlife and many cultural events. Pay homage at the USS Arizona National Memorial at Pearl Harbor, visit Iolani Palace, and catch the perfect wave off the North Shore. The Big Island features a magically diverse landscape ranging from tropical rainforests to alpine meadows, and from black sand beaches to snowcapped mountains. Watch molten lava flow from Kileauea in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, and stroll hand in hand down gold, black, and even green sand beaches. Hawaii is truly paradise

If you visit January to March, kayaking with the whales is an unforgettable experience not to be missed!
