Ever since my first trip in 1978. Italy has become one of my favorite places to visit. I have been back several times since then and love every new sight I see. In the north, look forward to such beautiful sights as shimmering lakes and snow-capped mountains. In Venice, take time to listen to the strolling musicians, ride in a gondola and tour museums. While in Florence, you're sure to be captivated viewing world-famous art and sculptures. In Rome, take time to view the ancient ruins at The Coliseum and Roman Forum; walk the Spanish Steps and throw coins in Trevi Fountain. Italy is certainly everything you've heard about, and so much more! I can help set up a private tour of the Vatican in Rome, arrange admission into the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, arrange private water taxis in Venice, or organize a tour to Pompeii to see the ancient ruins and the jagged peaks of Mount Vesuvius. There is nothing like staying in a private villa in Tuscany and driving to a different winery every day or visiting the Amalfi coast in Southern Italy, highlighted with picturesque villas and cobblestone streets. Italy offers you everything you could possibly want. Please let me plan and arrange your best vacation ever. La Dolce Vita...Come experience for yourself!
In Italy, always order the house wine when dining in a restaurant. It will be as good as anything you've ever enjoyed at home!
This glorious land called Greece is very diverse. Athens is known as the birthplace of the Olympics and also showcases the Acropolis, standing high above the city. There is easy access between several hotels and the Plaka district, offering many outdoor cafes and shops. The best part of Greece is the Greek Isles. For example, Santorini, perched high above the Aegean Sea, is best known as a town vividly colored with bright, white-washed walls and blue roofs and showcasing stunning sunsets. Mykonos is known for its beautiful white-sand beaches and hip nightclubs, while Crete, the largest of the Greek Islands, is synonymous with natural beauty, evidenced by rugged mountains, gorges and sandy beaches. I have traveled this country many times and have a passion for the islands. I look forward to helping you plan an unforgettable vacation to this most memorable destination!
When in Santorini, take time enjoy the great restaurant at the top of the gondola and view the beautiful sunsets.
In 1972, I lived in Hawaii. From then on, I would spend three months each summer visiting all the major islands. I have been back 2-3 times per year ever since, and I'm knowledgeable about each island's hotel properties, attractions, and activities that are offered. Every island is known for something special: Volcanoes on the Big Island, spectacular waterfalls and flora on Kauai, the best golf courses and beaches on Maui, and great shopping and nightlife on Oahu. And, if you really want to get away and just relax...then head to Lanai. Together, we can determine which island will best meet your interests, what type of accommodations you prefer, what type of activities and attractions will interest you most. I can also make restaurant recommendations, all best-suited to your special interests and tastes. In addition, I have established strong relationships with the hotels' sales staff and can secure the best pricing, and possibly a complimentary upgrade or special value-added amenity to further enhance your Hawaii experience!
Hanauma Bay is closed every Tuesday on Oahu. In Honolulu, the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet has the best deals on the island!
Villas are located in the countryside of Italy—either in Tuscany, Umbria, or along the Amalfi coastline of Southern Italy. The villas range in size from 1-12 bedrooms and accommodate up to 24 people. I've stayed in and enjoyed several exceptional villas, and this is the way to go while traveling in Italy—at least for part of your stay. Most villas are connected to other villas or to the owner's house—yet very private, with its own entrance. Some villas include swimming pools, and each showcases breathtaking scenery—such as overlooking vineyards or olive groves. Each villa has a kitchen and often the owner will stock the basics for you in advance of your arrival. Generally, each villa is located in a small town that offers a couple of restaurants and stores so that you can purchase what you need. There is much to look forward to when staying in a countryside villa: Visiting wineries, touring a leather factory, watching an olive oil producer, or simply just spending a delightful day driving around and enjoying the many beautiful sights!
The sight of a wild boar is a special treat. Plus, look forward to enjoying the local wines. All are excellent!
