Ski

I consider myself fortunate to have been born and raised in Germany, where skiing takes center stage during the winter months. No matter where you go in Germany, you are never too far away from a slope, and only a short train or car ride away from the majestic alps of the neighboring countries of Austria, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Skiing has always been an integral part of my life. I have travelled to all 7 continents and have been able to enjoy some of the most beautiful places in the world. from the Zugspitze in Bavaria in my home country of Germany, to Mt. Fuji in Japan, to Park City, Utah, to Mount Pilatus in Switzerland. Why not enjoy the scenic beauty of the United States, and ski from Alaska, California, to Vermont, North Carolina, and all parts in between? Maybe you want to get off the beaten path and try the unusual, like New Zealand or Argentina, while touring the countries. Enjoying the warmth and the pleasures of Dubai and get the urge to hit the slopes? No problem, all you have to do is step into the Mall of the Emirates and get your lift ticket for the day. Maybe snow isn’t on your itinerary; that’s okay, because you can find a dune and hit the sandy slopes from various states in the US to Peru, Israel, and Chile, to name a few. There is literally some type of skiing to fit every desire around the world.

I consider myself both fortunate and blessed to have been born and raised in Germany. I have been fortunate to have lived in Berlin, the capital of Germany; Ulm, the birthplace of Einstein; and Cologne, home of the Kölner Dom Cathedral. I have been blessed to have experienced much of the diversity Germany has to offer in its long history and distinct cultures. To enjoy Germany, one only needs to describe its culture, which includes philosophy and music to art and architecture. Cultural festivals like Oktoberfest, Christmas Markets, to the Passion Play held every 10 years in Oberammergau since 1634, enjoy world appeal. Germany has played a major role in the development of Europe from The Holy Roman Empire to becoming one of the most stable economies in the world today. I have traveled in the north from Lübeck on the Baltic Sea all the way to the south of Germany through the Black Forest of Bavaria, and explored the major cities from Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, to Nuremburg. Countless hours have been spent enjoying the beautiful scenic routes down the Moselle River and Koblenz in Western Germany to Berlin in the eastern region. One common element shared throughout the country whether you travel by river, train, car, or air, is the pride Germans take in their long history, rich culture, and devotion to arts. What better way to fashion the perfect visit to Germany than to tap into the boundless knowledge, expertise, and passion of a German?

Antarctica
Antarctica

There are few sights in this world that can both stun and amaze you at the same time. The first time you walk out and see the brilliant colors as the sun hits the Grand Canyon, the seemingly never-ending snow-capped peaks of the Alps, and the majestic glaciers of Antarctica, you will be moved by their rugged beauty and serenity, and the thought that very few people throughout history have experienced that view! As a matter of fact, only 0.02% of the world’s population has visited Antarctica. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity and cannot wait for the next adventure back. Paradise Bay is home to inactive Argentinean and Chilean Naval Bases which are now used as explorer destinations. Elephant Island is another stop that gets its name after the elephant seals that make it their home. Everywhere you look, you are surrounded by the natural beauty, which is simply gorgeous -- not to mention huge whales and fluffy penguins! Half the fun is getting there, as you will stop in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and the Falkland Islands on your cruise journey to the white continent. If you prefer to skip a trip around Cape Horn and through Drake’s Passage, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet, then perhaps you want to simply take a charter flight. You can begin your adventure from the bottom of the world in Ushuaia, Argentina. Either way, you don’t want to miss the opportunity to visit this Majestic Continent!

Around the World
Around the World

Being a native German, I have had the unique opportunity to travel all over the world since I was very young. I have visited all 7 continents and circled the globe countless times via planes, trains, ocean and river cruises. I have meandered down the Poe, Danube, Moselle, Seine, Rhine, and Volga rivers. I have sailed the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans in addition to the Mediterranean, Arabian, and Adriatic Seas, around Cape Horn and through Drake's Passage. I have climbed the Great Wall in China, walked to the top of Amber Fort in India, soaked in salt pools in Turkey and relaxed in thermal baths in Bulgaria. I played polo in Argentina, learned to dance the tango in Uruguay, skied the Swiss and German Alps while enjoying some of the most amazing views from the top of the Zugspitze in Bavaria. I have enjoyed many relaxing moments while on luxury cruises in Alaska, the Greek Isles, Hawaii, the Caribbean Islands and Mexican Rivera. Let's explore your next world adventure together!
