- Only payments made in Hong Kong Dollars via the American Express Interest-Free Installment Program (“Installment Program”) are considered eligible transactions. Installment Program Terms and Conditions apply.
- Prior to payment, Cardmembers must inform the Installment Program merchant (“Participating Merchants”) they wish to make payment via the Installment Program. The Installment Program may not be applicable to some products or services, please confirm directly with the Participating Merchants.
- The registration period commences on February 22, 2024, and ends on April 22, 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
- Cardmembers must successfully register an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period, then spend a net amount of HK$2,000 or more, in a single transaction via the Installment Program (“Spending Requirement”) in-person only at Participating Merchants in Hong Kong with the Registered Card during Promotion Period (“Eligible Transaction”) to receive HK$200 back in statement credit (“Registered Card Offer”).
- The Registered Card Offer is open to selected Basic and Supplementary American Express® Cards issued in Hong Kong by American Express (“Eligible Cards”), excluding American Express® Corporate Cards and Cards bearing the American Express name, brand or logo issued by partners of American Express.
- Supplementary Cards must be registered separately and spending cannot be combined amongst Cards to meet the Spending Requirement.
- Participation is limited to the first 15,000 Eligible Cards that are successfully registered.
- During the Promotion Period, the Registered Card Offer is limited to a one-time credit per Registered Card.
- Excludes transactions where Cardmembers do not spend on their Registered Card directly in person at the Installment Program merchants. Offer valid at Hong Kong locations only. Excludes transactions made online or via phone.
- Excludes transactions made through a third-party establishment or third-party payment processor.
- Un-posted/cancelled/refunded transactions and transactions that are found to be fraudulent or are eventually cancelled/refunded will be considered as ineligible transactions.
- Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
- Credit should appear on the Cardmember’s billing statement within 5 business days from the Eligible Transaction but may take up to 90 days from the end of Promotion Period.
- Credit may not be applied to the Cardmember’s Account if the Account has been suspended or cancelled and may be reversed if the Eligible Transaction is returned or cancelled.
- Participating Merchants is solely responsible for all products, services, consultations and advice. American Express is not the provider of any of these products and/or services that are made available pursuant to the Registered Card Offer and makes no representation or warranty in relation to such products and/or services.

- In the event of any dispute arising from this promotion, the decision of American Express and Participating Merchants shall be final.
- In the event of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
