Please Note: With effect from November 1, 2016, if an American Express Gift card holder contacts the Bank post the expiry of the “valid thru” date mentioned on the front of the card, the Bank will issue an Indian Rupee Cheque to the cardmember for the remaining available balance on the card in accordance with the RBI DEAF guidelines and on submission of valid KYC documentation, as applicable.
Refund of remaining Available balance to cardmember is subject to submission of relevant valid Know Your Customer (“KYC”)
documentation by the cardholder to the satisfaction of American Express. Please allow 25 business days to process your refund
post submission of valid KYC documents. American Express Gift card holder can reach out to our Customer Care Services helpline 000 800 443 1188 (toll free).
Taj American Express® Privilege Gift Card and The American Express® Taj Gift cards:
For replacement of expired Taj Gift cards as per RBI DEAF guidelines and for any queries pertaining to both the above cards, cardmembers are requested to call on the Taj Helpline number 1800111825 Grievances Redressal - Contact Particulars of officers to be contacted
